Yngwie Malmsteen - superb player and amazing technical skills Steve Vai - superb player and also amazing technical skills John Petrucci - hardcore technical skills and ability But I found that only Joe Satriani can make a simple and nice, supremely melodic, hum-along tune...
Which I dare say is even harder. You can practice scales, etc etc until your fingers fall off. But writing something with intense feeling like Satriani does is an entire different level.
Agree man but each have its own style me personally like better Steve Vai Joe Satriani is lot off pedals my opinion those Ibanez and is way too play match up 🔝 go a ask Eric Clapton to play that guitar 🎸? 😆 I bet I says no thanks! Anyway all are on their own style thank god at least it’s not listening same stuff 😆! All the best man and keep up sharing good riffs man 🎸🤘
I've always loved Joe Satriani's amazingly beautiful and awe inspiring music. I've been a fan since way back in the mid 80's, and have followed him from album to album to this point in time. I have seen him live, and with various backing musicians, and in all honesty, I am not crazy about this current line up. I don't know who these guys are, but they've been out of sync in several videos that I've seen, and are generally way too loud in comparison to Joe's guitar. They sound more like a "cover band" than a seasoned group of musicians.
the only reason to hit dislike is because you can't hit like a million times. These comments alone are worth 8 hundred quintillion likes. Satch is the Man
Satriani is a virtuoso undoubtedly, from Surfing with the Alien, Always with you..Love thing.., BUT, he runs into the same problem that every musician faces eventually unfortunately, that is being sound typecast to a certain era. Its not detrimental, its just how it seems to be a large majority of the time. I mean thar, just listening to his performance, you can pretty much guess which decade his music favors. There are few that have a timeless sound, and some of his music actually achieves this, but most of the time it is rather easy to hear where his influences are from. I like his instrumentals for the most part, eras are difficult to transcend, unless you are starting one with your own style..all due respect Satch, you got to live your passion and that is a honorable path! d>_0b
When I originally heard it ,when new , this song gave me a positive feeling and still does today .
Congratulations
Absolutely beautiful and could be a soundtrack to a movie as well as many other songs by Joe! ❤

"The Extremist" - The best, most melodic, Joe Satriani album !
Just feather rufflers… ignore them and their sad existence
they dislike it because they have no friends.

Joe is such a fantastic composer, probably top 3 song writer in instrumental guitar playing.
Definitely. Who are your other 2?
Eric Johnson, Andy Timmons

not knocking Marco M. but i like Campitelli's groove and pocket.
Campitelli has the best fit with Joe. Chemistry is perfect
