Coming from Jersey I was shocked the first time I went to Caspersen....Beach parking?....FREE
Beach access?....FREE. NO such thing as a beach badge. Clean soft white sand and crystal clear blue water. What's not to love?

Great presentation Liz. I go by Liz as well. My hubby and I were just at Caspersen Beach a little over 2 weeks ago on our way to Key West from SE Georgia. We stopped and spent two nights in the Venice area and spent one day shark tooth hunting on the beach...We mainly did our hunting around the rocks, the break line and some of the shell piles. The best luck was in the water near the rocks. In the few hours that we were there, I found close to 20 teeth. The water was a little rougher earlier in the day and started to calm down later that day. We had alot of fun. I was at Caspersen again two months prior and found some teeth as well. I will be back next year with a stop there on our annual trek to Key West. Thanks for a fun video.

Hi Liz!!! Thanks so much for watching and for the comment and for sharing your experience visiting Caspersen and shark tooth hunting! You are right, a lot of the teeth can be found around the rocks and break line for sure. We like to go out there after a storm comes through -- because it can really churn up some great teeth and they might be right out in the open (just waiting to be found!). We're glad you enjoyed the video - happy travels to you!
