Would rank them as follows 12. The Last Jedi (so bad only star wars movie I have been to in the theaters that was booed) 11. the Clone Wars 10. Rise of Skywalker 9. Attack of the Clones 8. Solo 7. The Phantom Menace 6. The Force Awakens (after The Last Jedi this one has fallen really far on the list) 5. Rogue One 4. Revenge of the Sith 3. Return of the Jedi 2. A New Hop 1. Empire
It's funny, they ranked Rise of Skywalker low because of fan service and not providing something new but then said that was why force awakens was good lol
I’ll be honest, I actually like TFA better than ROTJ, only because the pacing and tone is better in TFA. ROTJ has the best ending and lightsaber duel, but you do have to admittedly sit through a lot of noise to get to the insanely good parts.
Glad to see most SW fans agreeing that Revenge of the Sith is amazing, at least in the top half of all the SW movies. I would easily put it in the top 5, maybe even cracking top 3.
I have never understood the hate of the prequels. Yeah there’s a few flaws that I would tweak but I thought overall they were a great story and flowed well with the originals. I really liked the action and the story showing Vader start off as a slave then become a Jedi and ultimately become the villain.
I would disagree. Don't get me wrong the clone wars tvs show is the best star wars content in my opinion ( I will fight people on that) and to me revenge of the sith is only good cause I watched the show. Almost all the things that rots does that is good kinda left to dry in the movie. For example oder 66 doesn't hit you very hard when you have no connection to the clones and some of the Jedi and the clone wars show improves this by giving the clones characteristics personally brotherhood and even a sense of sympathy. And the movie has some slight pacing issues in my opinion but other than that I think ok movie I would probably put it in 6 or 5 just cause other Star wars movies are just a bit better to me. But if you disagree please tell me how much of an idiot I am
The phantom menace is so underrated. Yeah I know jar jar is annoying as fu- but the movie is still good especially the last battle. You had a anikin in space taking down the space station, Jedi fighting darth maul, gungans fighting the droids and padme and her army go and take down the viceroy. Also darth maul is just badass.
the final battle of phantom menace was absolutely perfect. instead of giving the heroes a horrible plan that was bound to not go well, or an overly perfect plan with no flaws, they made it realistic and gave us a genius plan to excite us but included complications. the plan was that the gungan army would lure the droid army out to the plains as a distraction while the naboo pilots would go into space and disable the army by destroying the control ship. meanwhile, padme and her group, including the jedi, would sneak into theed and capture viceroy gunray and the other federation leaders. the plan was genius but of course, one part was overlooked - darth maul. he had the perfect entrance standing in the hanger doorway as the doors opened with duel of the fates playing in the background, and he did a perfect job catching everyone off guard. no one knew he were there and he just came in and completely ruined their genius plan in the best way possible. he was a great villain in the movie - he didn't have much depth, after all only having a few lines, but he nailed the role of the mysterious scary villain. he did an excellent job as the secondary villain, so good in fact that i thought he was the main villain for the longest time until i rewatched and realized gunray was the main villain because he was the one leading the invasion. you know you have a good secondary villain when you value them more than the main villain. gunray was decent but didn't come close to how awesome maul did. nevertheless, he made the final battle absolutely terrific. that shows how genius the writers were when they planned out the final battle. one way to make a great final battle is to not only give the heroes a genius plan and throw in a complication no one expected, but also to make many parts to the battle. it adds suspense because we know that one group needs the other to succeed. if the pilots failed to destroy the droid control ship, the droid army would overpower the gungan forces and return to the city to dispose of padme's followers. and even if the droid army was defeated (which did happen luckily), gunray could escape and return with a new army if padme failed to capture him. and even if all 3 of these went according to plan (which they luckily did again) then if maul killed both the jedi he could kill all padme's followers and free gunray. they could get a new droid army and with both sidious and maul backing the trade federation, they would be unstoppable (plus dooku who would eventually turn to the dark side) plus the only thing really wrong is jar jar binks like chill out hes mad annoying but after all he did supply the naboo people with an army so i think he's worth being in the movie after all he did help in a way. PHANTOM MENACE IS UNDERRATED
Attack of the Clones was awful. Clunky dialogue, bad love story, boring space politics that was uninteresting, and sluggish pacing dragged the movie down.
@@rhysburns5420 Well I can understand your opinion. Darth Maul is one badass villain. The movie has way more practical effects that the other two. And can think of a few other stuff But my biggest issue with this movie, is that it is really all over the place. First off, what is the plot? I was clueless about that as a kid (unlike the OT) and once I learned it, I couldn’t do anything other than roll my eyes. And George put kinder garden level humor and politics, in the same movie .. But again, I hear u. I can understand why u like it better
@@fundhund62 yea the only one i dont like is the one that anakin says about the haunting kiss. The sand one doesnt bother me. Revenge of tge sith and phantom menace dont have any. But they are all solid in my opinion
Revenge of the Sith is my personal favorite Star Wars film and I think it's one of best films of the Star Wars franchise, at least on par with the best of the original Star Wars trilogy. May the 4th be with you. Happy Star Wars day.
@@mevgod2160 But it also wasted plenty of new characters way too soon and some of them didn't even have any identity nor backstory like Snoke. Such a pointless character.
Love them: 1. Revenge Of The Sith - maybe not the best one, but I like it the most by far 2. The Empire Strikes Back - objectively probably the best film, but I have less emotional connection with it 3. Return Of The Jedi - Han's rescue story is a little uninteresting, but apart from that a great film and story 4. The Phantom Menace - apart from Jar Jar, it is a great film with many iconic scenes 5. Rogue One - great setup story, fits it's role perfectly, although character deaths are not that impactful 6. A New Hope - OG Star Wars, cool but simple story, visual effects didn't age well 7. Attack Of The Clones - terrible dialogs, but story is good Don't love, but don't hate: 8. The Force Awakens - shallow copy of Episode 4, not bad, but not good either, have some good scenes, but sinfully sets up this terrible era 9. Solo - uninteresting, one-watch film Hate: 10. The Last Jedi - idiotic story choices, some plot holes, terrible jokes 11. Rise Of Skywalker - terrible film, inconsistent, full of plot holes, awful story decisions, lazy designs
Disappointment: 11. Rise of Skywalker 10. Phantom Menace 9. Solo 8. Attack of the Clones Decent/Okay: 7. Last Jedi Really enjoyed: 6. Force Awakens 5. Revenge of the Sith 4. Return of the Jedi Goated: 3. Rogue One 2. Empire Strikes Back 1. A New Hope
@@spawncampe The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are *not* disappointments. That’s the same, tired description of them that needs to stop. The Force Awakens was dull.
@@milotickz the movie is definitely excellent and the hero’s just absolutely losing in every way was pretty epic especially for it’s time. My favorite Star Wars film is Revenge of the Sith but I know Empire is the best Star Wars movie for sure.
I can overlook a movie with some bad dialogue but a good overall plot. But a movie with a bad overall plot is really hard to overlook, no matter how good the dialogue is.
It is really which generation you are in, and which you like more. I did not grow up with the originals, and I somewhat like the three prequels, but I do like 7-9.. yet I find the shows way more important than the movies. 🤷🏻♂️ opinion on generations, and that is what makes this entire franchise fun.
I'm getting the very sad feeling that the prequels are getting way too much hate. Sure, It has flaws and it's got problems (mostly the movie versions), but at the same time it also tells and shows on how the Jedi when extinct, how The Old Republic fell and how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader. And let me tell you, It's was a really sad and tragic story. And plus, when it comes to TV shows, videogames, spin offs, comics, graphic novels & even fan made series and fan films, The prequels has given us some of the best, greatest and most underrated and underappreciated tv shows, games, comics, graphic novels and fan made series and fan films ever. Not to mention that they were my very first Star Wars films i ever watched as a kid and i still do to this day.
It's aggravating for sure. Yes, the prequels had their issues. But at least they weren't lazy plot rehashes (Force Awakens), blatant character assassinations (Last Jedi) or randomly pulling dead villains out of thin air (Rise of Skywalker).
I would easily rank the new trilogy lower than the prequels, except maybe phantom menace ( maybe I just hate JJB too much 😂, kind of felt like it was for kids to me) but the prequels is only fantastic if you use your brain to understand the politics behind the plot, which not many people have 😅. Palpatine ‘s manipulating scheme was, to me, a masterpiece in on itself 🤩
The first two are terrible. Also, episode 7 is better than episodes one, which has enjoyable aspects, and two, which is irredeemable garbage, because it’s a well made and great movie with flaws, such as rey being op and too many similarities or callbacks to ep4.
I would honestly choose to watch 1-3 over 7-9 always because even though the latter are better made, I prefer the plots of 1-3 more enjoyable and ultimately it's the plot that makes movies worth watching.

Star Wars is now 50 years old!! The script, or 'story synopsis' was written by George Lucas in May of 1973. It was called The Star Wars. The script underwent many revisions, and Luke's last name was Starkiller instead of Skywalker.

@@Sturmantor fair enough although i'll put ep7 at the same level as ep9 and ep 8 over solo, because whatever your though at lesst tried to do somethint difereent than just recicling what came before. @motor4X4kombat very true but 2 other reasons I think people love the prequels now is 1 because of shows like Clone Wars that let us see more into the characters and definitely appreciate them and the story more and also I think it's our Generation like 90s and early 2000s are the current generation in the Zeitgeist ; so we're the ones who grew up with the prequels and we have the bigger voice now
This is gonna be a chaotic comment section..... that being said if I see watchmojo place 7, 8 or 9 ranked higher than any of the other movies then they've lost all integrity.

Empire Strikes Back is the greatest, but I still love all of them. My top five favorites are probably: 1.) Empire Strikes Back 2.) Revenge Of The Sith 3.) The Phantom Menace 4.) The Return Of The Jedi 5.) A New Hope None of the newer ones though. They’re all still really good though. (May The 4th Be With You All!)
This is the first time I’ve seen someone put TPM in the top 3. For me, I have it at the bottom next to Rise of Skywalker. It’s just so incredibly boring to me that I want to fall asleep. I get the lore it was setting up, but it needs to be interesting for me. Not dissing your opinion, it’s just fascinating
@@tristanlanphere7736 I never deliberately meant that, but the Empire Strikes Back is the best one. Even though I hate to admit it. I really do like it though, it’s just not my favorite and the same with the original. They’re the best ones in the whole franchise. In the prequels it goes Sith, then the Phantom Menace and then Clone Wars.

Happy Star Wars Day! And, here’s how I rank the Star Wars Movies: 12. Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi I honestly don’t know where to start with this movie. At first, I was fine with it, but I honestly think Rian Johnson’s direction for this movie didn’t work. Personally, I didn’t like Luke in this movie. Rey was annoying because they wanted her to be perfect. Also, this movie has the worst Star Wars Character in existence, Vice-Admiral Amilyn Holdo. Despite that, there were some decent moments, mainly a lot of the action scenes, and the effects were pretty good. I also think this had the best R2-D2 scene in the whole Sequel Trilogy. I particularly love the scene when Luke and R2 reunite, especially the call back to the First Star Wars movie with Leia’s message. Overall, though, I think if this was a spin-off movie, it would be great. But since it’s a Star Wars movie, I think it’s the worst, and nothing tops it. 11. Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens So very similar to The Last Jedi, I did enjoy it. But now I think it’s just okay. Firstly, I think this movie was better than Episode VIII because it was a good reintroduction into Star Wars after nearly 10 years away from the theaters. Once again, impressive action sequences, and I really do think all of the new characters had pretty good introductions, particularly Rey. That’s pretty much it for positives, though, because this movie is just a remake of A New Hope. I honestly still don't understand why disney thought Star Wars needed a soft reboot. Overall, I think it was a fun adventure and wasn't as frustrating as Episode VIII, even though that might not be saying much. 10. Solo: A Star Wars Story Honestly, I think this is the most average Star Wars movie. I personally think this was a story that didn’t need to be told. But I did enjoy it, and I did like how we got to see what Han Solo was like before Episode IV. I don’t love this movie, it’s okay for what it is, and I enjoyed it, so that's why I placed it here. 9. Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker Personally, I think this is the best of the Sequel Trilogy films. It does have a lot of issues, but I was more entrained by this one. My personal favorite moment honestly is the scene where Luke raised his X-Wing for Rey. Mainly because the X-Wing is my favorite Star Wars vehicle ever, and I loved how it was a call back to Episode V. But again that’s kind of the problem with this movie. It relies on fan service to keep your attention instead of telling a cohesive story. Overall, I think it did a good job ending the Sequel Trilogy. But as a conclusion to the Skywalker Saga as a whole, it could’ve been better. 8. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Now, this is Star Wars. While I think this was a story that didn't need to be told, I do like how it explained how the Rebel Alliance got the Death Star plans. I also do like a lot of the characters, mainly Jyn, Andor, and K2-SO. By the way, I think K2 might still be around in the Sequel Trilogy because his memory cord is in BB-8. I think this because K2 and BB-8 are kind of similar, also like they are the same character. Overall, a good movie and easily Disney’s best Star Wars movie. 7. Star Wars: The Clone Wars I know this is generally considered the worst Star Wars movie, and it doesn’t really feel like a movie. But for me, I can’t deny my nostalgia for this movie. This movie came out around the time I had just gotten into Star Wars. In fact, I loved this movie so much that when I heard this was a pilot for a TV show of the same name, I got excited. My only problem with this movie is the fact that it was the first 3 or 4 episodes of the Clone Wars series made into a movie. However, I cut them some slack because there are some growing pains when starting a new story in an established counitunity. Also, I think its highs outweigh its lows. The biggest ones for me being, an introduction into a time period we didn’t get to see in the Prequel Trilogy, making the Clones actual characters, and introducing some of the best Star Wars Characters ever (Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex). Overall, a very nostalgic movie for me that kicked off an amazing tv show and introduced two of my favorite Star Wars characters. 6. Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones So back then, I thought this was the worst Star Wars movie ever. However, after I rewatched all of the movies for Episode IX, my opinion of it changed drastically. Firstly, let me say, this movie has some issues, and I do think it’s the worst of the Prequels, but I still enjoy it. I also don’t mind Anakin and Padmé’s relationship, I think it had a good idea and executed pretty well compared to some other ideas. Easily, though, the best part for me was the First Battle of Geonosis. Back then, I didn’t think much of it, but since we have The Clone Wars now, it hit even harder, realizing that this was the beginning of a long, long war. As Yoda said in the film, “Begun the Clone War has.” Overall, it is the worst of the Prequels, but it’s still enjoyable and a pretty good movie. 5. Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace Ah yes. The First of the Prequel Trilogy. Honestly, just behind The Last Jedi, I think this might be one of the most controversial Star Wars movies ever. However, I think this is a prime example of how to handle a controversial Star Wars movie. For some reason, more people are willing to admit they like it or not, while also understanding the other side. I find that interesting, considering this is the one who features Jar Jar Binks the most. That aside, I think Episode I is a good movie. We got to see the backstories of several characters, mainly Obi-Wan, C-3PO, R2-D2, and even Anakin. It had some amazing action and introduced one of the best Star Wars villains ever, Darth Maul. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good movie, but I do understand why someone may not like it as much. 4. Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope The movie started it all, and I love it. This was the movie that introduced some of the most well-known and beloved characters, including Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and C-3PO and R2-D2. While this movie is still amazing 46 years later, I do think it has been surpassed by some of its sequels, which is a good thing as the sequels should always try to surpass its predecessor. Despite that, it is a great movie with one of the most inspirational stories ever. 3. Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi So this movie isn’t perfect, but it was a perfect ending to the Original Trilogy and the first 6 Star Wars movies. First off, things I like, I love how it follows up on Episode V with Han’s rescue, and it expanded on the relationship between Leia and Han. In addition, the final battle was one of the best final battles ever. I mean, you got Luke Skywalker going against his father, Han, and Leia working to take out the Death Star’s shield, and Lando piloting the Millennium Falcon. The only issue I have with this movie is that I wish we got to see how Luke got stronger and became a full-fledged Jedi Knight. But I don’t knock the movie for that because I have my own theory on how that happened, and it works out in the end, considering this concluded Luke’s story arc amazingly. Overall, an amazing movie with one of the best conclusions in film history. 2. Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back So Episodes V and VI rank about the same for me. I love them both for different reasons. Episode V did everything that a good sequel should do. It played with tone, it told a new story while continuing the story already established, and it also put our characters through new trails. And, of course, it included the biggest plot-twist in film history. Whereas Episode VI did everything a good conclusion should do. Overall, I love both these movies, and can’t decide which one I like better. But this movie is still amazing, and I 100% understand why someone may place this as their number one. Speaking of which. 1. Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Now I'll admit, Episode V is the better made movie. But for me, Episode III will always be my favorite Star Wars movie. Mainly because it was an amazing conclusion to the Prequel Trilogy and brought both the Prequels and Originals together. Also, this was the movie that got me into Star Wars because it came out around the time I was just a little kid. I had seen the previous movies, but this was the first time I saw a new Star Wars movie. Lastly, this was the only Prequel I can ever name that actually had some tension. Normally, with Prequels in movies, there isn’t much tension because you know what’s going to happen. But in Episode III, the tension was between Obi-Wan and Anakin in their final lightsaber duel. We obviously know they both make it out, but the tension wasn’t who was going to survive. It was who was going to win. I mean, Obi-Wan never flat out said in the Original Trilogy, “I fought Vader, and I won.” or “I fought Vader once, and I lost.” So Anakin could have won for all we know. On top of all that, these are both our Heroes, and you don’t know who to root for. I guess that’s why it’s called “Battle of the Heroes”. Overall, an amazing movie, and is, in my opinion, the Best Star Wars movie ever.
I agree with that scene in TROS where Luke lifted the X-wing it was the exact lesson that Yoda taught him in ESB and nobody ever seems to talk about it.

It isn’t because episode 9 is terrible, but it has good aspects such as leias part in the story, c-3POs arch, babu frill, Kylo rens arch and Adam drivers performance, among some other aspects. Whereas other then the world building, ep2 is irredeemable garbage. There’s nothing fun or enjoyable about it. Also I’ve always thought that the prequels got way too much hate.
@@ryanl5460 From a story or narrative & originality perspective, tpm and the entire prequel trilogy better but from a filmmaking perspective, the prequels don’t hold a candle to the sequels because they are superior, in almost every way from the acting, to directing, to cinematography to the special effects and so on, and I’m sorry if it upsets you but thats just an objective fact as much the sequels not having a plan is a fact. Don’t let your nostalgia blind you because you can’t say that the prequels are better made when they have terrible acting, an over reliance on dated and bad cgi, racist stereotypes, toxic romance, bad dialogue and are mostly boring. You can make the argument that the prequels are a better trilogy for x, y and z reasons but you can’t say they’re better made because they just not, as the sequels failed in creativity and narrative not in production. Also, the pod race is fine but it’s not that exciting, I’m glad you like it, and also the maul fights the best part of the movie.

Nah, the films too childish and poorly written to be considered up to par with the original trilogy. If you take the nostalgia glasses off I really don’t think the film is that good

Also the only movie with pod racing
the final battle of phantom menace was absolutely perfect. instead of giving the heroes a horrible plan that was bound to not go well, or an overly perfect plan with no flaws, they made it realistic and gave us a genius plan to excite us but included complications. the plan was that the gungan army would lure the droid army out to the plains as a distraction while the naboo pilots would go into space and disable the army by destroying the control ship. meanwhile, padme and her group, including the jedi, would sneak into theed and capture viceroy gunray and the other federation leaders. the plan was genius but of course, one part was overlooked - darth maul. he had the perfect entrance standing in the hanger doorway as the doors opened with duel of the fates playing in the background, and he did a perfect job catching everyone off guard. no one knew he were there and he just came in and completely ruined their genius plan in the best way possible. he was a great villain in the movie - he didn't have much depth, after all only having a few lines, but he nailed the role of the mysterious scary villain. he did an excellent job as the secondary villain, so good in fact that i thought he was the main villain for the longest time until i rewatched and realized gunray was the main villain because he was the one leading the invasion. you know you have a good secondary villain when you value them more than the main villain. gunray was decent but didn't come close to how awesome maul did. nevertheless, he made the final battle absolutely terrific. that shows how genius the writers were when they planned out the final battle. one way to make a great final battle is to not only give the heroes a genius plan and throw in a complication no one expected, but also to make many parts to the battle. it adds suspense because we know that one group needs the other to succeed. if the pilots failed to destroy the droid control ship, the droid army would overpower the gungan forces and return to the city to dispose of padme's followers. and even if the droid army was defeated (which did happen luckily), gunray could escape and return with a new army if padme failed to capture him. and even if all 3 of these went according to plan (which they luckily did again) then if maul killed both the jedi he could kill all padme's followers and free gunray. they could get a new droid army and with both sidious and maul backing the trade federation, they would be unstoppable (plus dooku who would eventually turn to the dark side)
plus the only thing really wrong is jar jar binks like chill out hes mad annoying but after all he did supply the naboo people with an army so i think he's worth being in the movie after all he did help in a way. PHANTOM MENACE IS UNDERRATED
Duel of the Fates has been stuck in my head for years. And I like that.

Attack of the clones honestly deserves a ranking like that
Attack of the Clones was awful. Clunky dialogue, bad love story, boring space politics that was uninteresting, and sluggish pacing dragged the movie down.

12. Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
I honestly don’t know where to start with this movie.
11. Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens
So very similar to The Last Jedi, I did enjoy it.
10. Solo: A Star Wars Story
Honestly, I think this is the most average Star Wars movie. I personally think this was a story that didn’t need to be told. But I did enjoy it, and I did like how we got to see what Han Solo was like before Episode IV. I don’t love this movie, it’s okay for what it is, and I enjoyed it, so that's why I placed it here.
9. Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Personally, I think this is the best of the Sequel Trilogy films.
8. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Now, this is Star Wars.
7. Star Wars: The Clone Wars
I know this is generally considered the worst Star Wars movie, and it doesn’t really feel like a movie.
6. Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones
So back then, I thought this was the worst Star Wars movie ever.
5. Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Ah yes.
4. Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope
The movie started it all, and I love it.
3. Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
So this movie isn’t perfect, but it was a perfect ending to the Original Trilogy and the first 6 Star Wars movies.
2. Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
So Episodes V and VI rank about the same for me.
1. Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Now I'll admit, Episode V is the better made movie.
Insanely valid ranking
Episode 1 alone is better than the entire sequel trilogy
I'll never understand why nobody likes Solo
I love it. It's uncharted in space. A super super fun movie.
It was a fun movie!
If you actually think TROS was better than AOTC you deserve the Disney content we’re currently stuck with.
The true List
1: Revenge Of The Sith
2: Empire Strikes Back
3: Return Of The Jedi
4: A New Hope
5: Rogue One
6: Force Awakens
7: Solo
8: The Phantom Menace
9: Attack Of The Clones
10: The Last Jedi
11: Rise Of The Skywalker
(Not Counting Clone Wars, but if it were to be placed it would be between Force Awakens and Solo)
Episode 7 being ranked third while episode 3 is ranked sixth is the biggest prequel hate bias ive ever seen
Bruh you really like Star Wars kid? You are so gay
Putting 9 ahead of 2 is crazy.
@@calcoffey7063 you’re entitled to that opinion… however phantom menace is better than all the sequels put together. Pod race alone
The fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustafar still chokes me up.
Watchmojo hates the fact that the Rise of Skywalker brings Prequel fans and Original fans together. Now the Prequels are well liked to this day all thanks to the Sequels.
12: Clone Wars
11: Solo
10: Last Jedi
9: Rise Of Skywalker
8: Force Awakens
7: Phantom Menace
6: A New Hope
5: Attack of the Clones
4: Rogue One
3: Return of the Jedi
2: Revenge of the Sith
1: Empire strikes back
Revenge of the Sith at 6 is a crime, it is arguably the best StarWars movie. But if you dont agree its the best, you can agree its atleast top 3 😂
Yes, it's one of my favourites. I wouldn't say it's the best one, because I think part of it's greatness depends on how it connects to A New Hope. But it's definitely better than Episodes 1 and 2, and also better than Episodes 7,8 and 9 and Rogue One.
Nah, the films too childish and poorly written to be considered up to par with the original trilogy. If you take the nostalgia glasses off I really don’t think the film is that good
The episode 3 fight between Anakin and Obi-wan wasn't their last fight. The episode 4 fight between them was.
Right, Episode III was their FIRST fight!
@@KevyNova ok but this isn't about their first fight.
How dare you rank any JJ Abrams movie higher than any films from the original prequel?
They’re clearly biased.
Ranking episode 8 above any other Star Wars movie other than maybe 9 is absolutely insane, that movie killed my interest in anything Disney until Mandalorian
12.Rise of Skywalker
11.The Last Jedi
10.The Clone Wars
9.Solo:A Star Wars Story
8.The Force Awakens
7.Attack of the Clones
6.The Phantom Menace
5.Rogue One:a Star Wars Story
4.Return of the Jedi
3. Star Wars A New Hope
2.Revenge of the Sith
1.The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VII above Episode III?? Unbelievable...
Star Wars is the greatest movie ever! You don’t need just one film. The original 9 movies told a great story!
If number 12 is anything other than sequels you get a dislike.
EDIT: You asked for it ;p
The fact that rots is not top 3 is a sin
Watchmojo: *Tries Prequel Bashing Again*
Literally Everyone: How Many Times Do We Have To Teach You The Same Lesson Oldman!!
THE CORRECT RANKING:
1. The Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope
3. Return of the Jedi (my favorite)
4. Revenge of the Sith
5. The Phantom Menace
6. Attack of the Clones
7. Rogue One
8. Solo
9. The Clone Wars
10. The Force Awakens
11. The Rise of Skywalker
12. The Last Jedi
I agree with your list except I put Solo and Rogue One a bit higher
I think the last jedi to me had a really good emotional story
Are you high?
Are you high?
Are you high?
Are you high?
Are you high?
I imagine fans are getting crazy to see the Last Jedi not at the bottom of the list?
Oddly enough it’s the best out of the sequel trilogy. But truth is sequels should be at the very bottom
The fact that they put the movie that literally split the fan base in half in the top 10 is beyond me
Maybe not everyone is unable to be open minded about watch mojo having a different opinion than the sequel haters.
The sequels deserve to be at the bottom of the list. Those movies are a complete disgrace to the Star Wars universe. They literally make the prophecy of the chosen one pointless. I don’t consider Disney’s sequel trilogy canon. Also Revenge of the Sith should be top 3.
We all know the TRUE top three here:
1. Empire
2. Revenge
3. Rogue
I totally disagree, Force Awakens is not better than Revenge of the Sith or Return of the Jedi
Yes, I love Return if the Jedi
@@jaclynsanture6643 it's my favorite
Rise of Skywalker literally ends with Palpatine winning. How tf is this not the worst?
Whoever made this list obviously experienced the 2000’s as a 75 year old person.
Top 5
1 :empire strike back
2:revenge of the sith
3 : new hope
4:return of the jedi
5: force awaken
WatchMojo: IT'S OVER, REVENGE OF THE SITH! I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND!
Revenge of the Sith: You underestimate my power.
WatchMojo: Don't do it, Anakin.
Revenge of the SIth: *Falls into 6th place*
Revenge of the Sith my favorute. I’ll say Last Jedi was the best of the sequels.
RotS is the best in the prequel. The Last Jedi was a Blast movie with big critics.
The pod racing was awesome! One of the best scenes in the whole series!
Star Wars episode 3 was my favorite movie remember watching in movies theaters
Here’s my list
11. The Last Jedi
10. Attack of the Clones
9. Solo
8. The Phantom Menace
7. The Rise of Skywalker
6. Rogue One
5. The Force Awakens
4. A New Hope
