My homie gave this to me in a crate of 50 to get me started on my vinyl collection. I put this ep on top of a stack of records to show my mom when she visited me last year before she passed from cancer....
I remember when this track came in on 6th session, and I was like, 'literally this sounds like swarms of winged demons from Hell chewing up the cones in my speakers.' That whole mix sounded like a bad acid trip... and yet I still like it.
I just remember playing this for my friends at a drinking/smoking sesh in about 2001... Everyone thought I was nuts except the host. He was a diagnosed schizophrenic. He was like: 'I get it.'
@Pen Umbra Yeah, I think I had that patch/refill/whatever back when I was fucking around with all this shit. I haven't been inspired, motivated, or encouraged to do it recently, even though I DO still get ideas now and then. It's just so difficult to keep up with this stuff in addition to everything else I am driven/compelled/coerced to do. But I was actually referring to the scratchy, crackling sound. I don't think I had anything that could do that.
I remember this being on Diesel boy dj mix around 2000-01. Good times. That CD was on repeat everyday all day I would walk around school with my CD player lol.
ohhh yess !! sick tune... can remeber when i heard this one first time on a party years ago and it kicked the crowd in the face at 4 o´clock in the morning. can someone pls upload "contaminate" again peace
OMFG! I was searching this song for years!!! VERY BIG THANKS to uploader... Cheers for all D'n'B lovers... One of the most massive dnb songs that is heard by my ears!!! Hello from Latvia! (sorry for my bad english)
As zjat37 says, it's the version that was on Dieselboy's 6th Session... Dieselboy mixed in a tramen break over the top of some of the tracks to add an extra element and give the tunes on the mix a bit of an exclusive feel to them. He did the same with Messiah (the opening track).
@@Eblim yeah whoah that's a tough one, not Tech Itch but Locust is mental, one of the toughest tunes ever for sure th-cam.com/video/VPXU21fNEMM/w-d-xo.html

I don't know how many times I heard this dropped at Platinum/Fluid in Philly back in the day, but it was worth the price of admission every time.
I have this on a burned CD-R downloaded off Napster. Still one of my favorite tunes from this era of Drum n Bass.
