How many minutes per pound did y'all do? We started at 3 minutes per pound 30 years ago or so when we first started this method but the women were all whining that it wasn't cooked because it was so juicy (it was cooked!) They had become so used to dry over-cooked turkey that we couldn't convince them. We have settled on 4 minutes per pound and everyone seems happy now.
@@randallmarsh1187 Yep. Four minutes per pound. Pat let it "breathe" for 15 minutes after taking it out and shredded the meat onto a platter. It was very good!
