Next to Mr. Snake, Ms. Tarantula is my second favorite character. Sure, she’s sarcastic, snarky, sassy, pessimistic, and smug, but she has a sweet side. She has a cool best friend, Diane. She’s also very cute for a spider. Awkwafina really made this spider stand out.
She actually had a tab open where she was remixing the sound at the beginning of the song. Doing a bit of DJ-ing. So when people watch her now, they think she's still just messing with the sound remixing.
Fun Fact: Did you know that in the book series, the tarantula character was originally male? In my opinion, Tarantula aka Webs is better as a female because in reality, female spiders are more deadlier & scarier than the male ones. Plus, her design is really cute.

I found Web’s voice familiar and was trying to work it out for ages and I finally got it! Sisu! She has the same voice actress as Sisu from Raya and the Last Dragon.
The director Pierre Perifel did say that numerous anime shows were a major source of influence like Sherlock Hound, Beastars, Lupin III being the most prominent, and Cowboy Bebop. I’ll bet you anything that Radical Edward being a mischievous hacker provided inspiration for Ms Tarantula’s skill set and some of her personality.
