I like to see "ruin my life" as meaning breaking the old, obsolete mold of your life. So that you can reshape it to become a much better, new and improved life. Cleansed of many issues that used to keep you down. Now you can be more whole because many of the injuries you used to have have been fixed up. No more whiping wet puddles now that the root of the cause has been fixed.
