Too good video sir jii ........😁 mast vedio tha sir ..... abh apke sare vedio dekh dalungi maza agaya .............I love chemistry ....your explanation make me more more curious to explore more ........to chemistry ....

For a Reaction to be exothermic hydration energy should be higher than the lattice energy. If compounds do not dissociate into ions then reaction will never be exothermic. Saluting your teaching Sir
My favorite channel on utube❤. U r great sir.. Thanks a lot😇😇. Thanks fr ur lecture.. It's very easy to understand. U hv a magical power to tech the subject so smoothly.. The best teacht i hv ever seen😌
No, sorry to say but CaCo3 in water is not exothermic as CaCo3 is quite stable, it's lattice energy is very high so i doesn't break into its constituents ions.
Sir i have doubt ... U said that enthalpy means heat change at constant temperature and pressure.... But here temperature is changing... And one thing more in thermodynamics we use sign convention as energy released negative and energy absorb positive but here u use reverse.... Please reply sir....
I think For ex:- in case of ∆latticeH As energy is given by the solvent to solute to break it's lattice structure that means energy is lost from the solvent so -ve (with respect to solvent) but at the same time energy is absorbed by the solute so +ve(with respect to solute)
Sir, adding water to acid is exothermic reaction and since only enthalpy of Hydration is present, the enthalpy of solution is +ve. But we know, that for exothermic reaction the enthalpy of the reaction is -ve as heat is released by the system. Where does the contradiction lie then? Please Answer Sir.
+ve sign indicates energy is absorbed and -ve sign shows energy is released. To break crystal energy has to supply so lattice energy is +ve and once dissociated into ions due to ion dipole interaction energy is released so hydration energy is -ve . sum of this two energy is called called solution enthalpy if this comes out to be +ve, it is endothermic otherwise exothermic.
POSITIVE COLD NEGATIVE HOT.. as exo (delta H < 0) releases heat making container (thermodynamic surrounding) hot.. and endo (delta H >0)cold as it absorbs heat from surrounding..
Enthalpy of formation of CaCo3 is the energy released when one mole of CaCo3 is formed from most stable form of of Carbon, calcium and oxygen but actually CaCo3 is formed from Cao and Co2 so in this case energy released will be different.
Small correction when urea is dissolving we call enthalpy of solution not enthalpy of lattice energy Urea is not at all a ionic compound then how we call it lattice ?
Sahi batu tho Alakh pandy sir is the best teacher. (I don't want to hurt you sir) but alakh sir is the best. Aap khud unke vedio dekho tho aap ko pata chalega unka concept aur explanation. But alakh sir ne ye wala topic nahi padaya tha tho mai kise aur channel se dekhne wala tha aur really this vedio was best for me. Thanks
@@chemistryuntold ooooòo sir you are great as u accepted the truth. You are also good. But we student are of no one's jaha jiska accha laga wahi se padh lete hai.
Well explained sir but let me tell u my query When Sulphuric acid is added to water doesn't we say There will be more enrgy comes out Bcz of Enthalpy of neutralisation which is somewhere more than Enthalpy change of Hydration? Actually i am confused with Neutralisation and Hydration Hope u will surely help me asap
Sir when suphuric acid added to water heat is evolved due to hydration only. When sulphuric acid added to a base then heat is evolve due to neutralisation. Which enthalpy is more it depends on various factors i

Very good performance! Sir really my many concept are clear today after showing your lacture.
Best sir keep it up and thank for explanation 👍👍👍
As the way you teach us .
Physical chemistry seems too simple .
Thanku you sir .🤗☺
Literally you have made a fan in Bangladesh 🇧🇩
love youuuu man
Ur real life example of sulfuric acid has left me in my long term memory.....
Got this doubt in matric, and finally sir clear it during my preps of entrance test🥺🥺
Thank you so much sir for such a crystal clear explanation ❤️
Thank you so much. Today I learn much from you. You are a good teacher, the way you are teaching is amazing. Keep it continue.
This is the way of teaching.....Superb👌🏻👌🏻
You are awesome, sir you deserves millions of views, great job
Clear voice simple language and great Explanation ❤
I just loved ur way of teaching!❤️❤️❤️❤️love u sir!u r best!
Great explanation....it was really very useful..... thankyou so much sir..... regards 🙏
You nailed it. Good job👍

Very very thanks sir Ji 💖💖👌👌👌
Thanks for this wonderful explanation
Deep concepts : all clear 👍👍👍
U explained it very well👌👌👌👌
Amazing lectures ❤️❤️❤️
Sir this lecture is really hot 🔥 and concentrated...now i got some potential energy and high enthalpy.
Excellent 🥺❤️
CaCO3 in water is an exothermic process. So, enthalpy change must be negative. By the way, thanks for your nice presentation

Best explaination....
Brilliant explanation
Superb..... And you are so polite
kya baat hai sir 15 min itni achi calarity

Excellent teaching sirji 👍
sir ek baar hydration, electrolyte and non electrolyte k baare mei batana
plz sir 🙏👍

you r right.
Sir said that enthalpy means heat at constant Pressure only. (not temperature)

Point of view and reference.

it depends on point of view, you may adpot any sign convention. But meaning will be the same
Nice lecture sir
Sir if ∆H solution ki value positive aati h ....iska matlb solution hot hoga ????or if iski final value negative aati h to cold ???
POSITIVE COLD NEGATIVE HOT.. as exo (delta H < 0) releases heat making container (thermodynamic surrounding) hot.. and endo (delta H >0)cold as it absorbs heat from surrounding..
Sir why formation of calcium carbonate is not an enthalpy of formation??can you please answer this....please make video on this
