It's just my opinion but I liked more without jp>english translation, subtitles did the thing in best, to enjoy a conversation between them without any pauses, just japanese~but it just my opinion not a fact.
I love Japan. It's so difference from other countries. The first time I went it was a culture shock, but in a fun exiting way. it's abit quirky and and fun. From cafes where you can sit down with various animals and pat them while having coffee to nightlife where people dress in cosplay/costumes.
youve got to start putting japanese to english subtitles please 🙏🙏. Not only is it better / more seamless, and easier for you during the moment, It helps those of us working on our japanese
Hey, great video! Just wanted to throw something out there (you may not care). Some of the customers seemed interested to be on camera but also a little nervous, I think if you had the ability to set up cameras on the walls it would become much more natural & after a few drinks people would just be themselves
Cool video. Impressed they allowed video. But it shows in the girls demeanour that they aren‘t comfortable😅 I also enjoy visiting girl bars while in Japan. They are great fun, if you know what to expect.
Alcohol is Big in Japan. The new Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro bluetooth Earbuds.... Someone can speak to you in Japanese and they translate into English so you hear what they are saying in English. In real time.
Very cool content as always sir 👍🏻. The woman with short hair in the black outfit at 12:08 has been in the video before. She looks familiar from previous Japan explorer videos. 🤷🏼♂️
Yes, she was interviewed at the bar at least two or three times. JE also had at least two or three videos with a day/night out with her (or her and another girl, once).
that was an intresting video to watch, to know that it could cost alot of money if you dont understand it. Also super awkward for someone who doesnt speak japanese. Im coming out to japan again next year, i may pop in
Thanks for showing us what goes on in the Cafes. It sounds like it can be quite a bit of money for just a short period of time in one of these Cafes. I would say this is would get quite expensive if someone were to do this every night. Where you first met the young lady on the street, I couldn't believe how many of the Street Maids were lined up on both sides of the street. Very competitive type of business to make money for a Cafe. Listening to their conversations, it sounds to me like this kind of living and life style for the girls turns them all into Alcoholics. I wonder how many customers do they get in one night, if any???? This kind of life style of drinking is not for me. Cafes should really be called Bars. So how much did it cost you for the evening in that Cafe????? I know it is not cheap. Take care.
MORNING JE IM TIRED GOT TO GO INTO TOWN THIS MORNING TAKE IN MY PRESCRIPTION ITS QUITE A WALK FROM THE RAIL STATION TO THE DRS SURGERY THEN BACK INTO THE TOWN CENTRE SO I MIGHT TAKE A TAXI FROM THE STATION BACK INTO TOWN TO CATCH MY BUS
To find a good Girls Bar in Tokyo is not easy. Especially Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro, there are too many and they are struggeling to survive by competition to each other. Therefore 90% are overprized and additional you have to pay extra for each single thing. And also 90% of these bars are empty... 2-3 guests only. Same like in this bar here. But the japanese Guy here in this video said he is here every day, but I guess he is not a customer. He seems to belong to this bar, because at the end of the video he is behind the counter. No customer is allowed to be behind the counter. In the beginning of the video you can see all the Girls standing in the street and trying to catch customers. Tooooo many. Better go to a Girls Bar in more local areas in the surburbs of Tokyo. They are much cheaper, Girls are very classy and nice, and many local japanese people will be there.
The Business Affairs Bureau of Japan and Japan Post have a responsibility with the labor policy and National Tax Agency. The separation of legal right is obvious with the legal name of each party, as natural persons. "Money" and "Postage" are not fungible for services as equal value. it might be more work for you but I think you should go back to the old format of just speaking Japanese and adding the subtitles. those older videos felt a lot more natural and fluid. still love your channel though, keep the videos coming!
Thanks for your comment! I'll give this method a try for a while, and occasionally add subtitles as well. Subtitles do take up a lot of my time, but I'll see what I can do
@@Japanexplorer1 yeah it will be more work for you but I think those videos are better. Either way, do what you feel is best brother, as I said, I’m watching your videos regardless. Regards from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
I've always found it so strange how ashamed these girls seem to be working at these places because any time they see a camera they hide behind their sign.
Its privacy not shame. Japanese in general always look away, hide their face, walk faster to get past your cameras, and so on. That's why you see so many many videos when the person gets permission to film somewhere they always blur out the customers faces, privacy is a big thing for the people. But in this instance its more just for the business. Many of these places charge for you to take pictures with the ladies in the cafe so having people record doesn't help that. Also there are stalkers in japan that take pictures or record and all that, where stalking in japan is quite an issue. Even for tourists. Shyness as well. I myself am a hispanic that lives in america but when I see a camera or someone filming I always cover my face, I don't want to be in anyones video or frame. If you also notice in america its not shame, people here get extremely angry and confrontational if they see you recording or taking pictures with them in it, so japanese just going through the trouble of covering their faces instead of confronting you like in other countries is quite polite and tolerant of them. Its not about the "shame" as the men also cover their faces, but its about trying to get you to go to their business, not having the wrong people filming, and privacy. Of course some might be shy about their jobs too. Though if you watch more videos you see alot of business people infront of their stores also look away from the cameras. Some don't care so they just ignore you or wave happily at the camera.
Thanks for the concern! I always take precautions in places like Kabukicho. Exploring is about having fun while staying safe, and it also depends on which bar you choose
These are themed bars and cafes. I don't see why you'd except more unless you specifically go to those kinds of places and know of them. You pay alot of money in al these places like the pokemon cafe, dinseyland, and so on. Your paying for the setting and theme. You expecting mickey mouse to come and play with you personally? Your even using a hooters comparison, go to a strip club or somewhere your guaranteed some form of service your looking for. These are just girls bars not gentlemens clubs lol.
I hope not to disrespectful or anything but i dont feel this format of traducing every single word on the interactions with people is right it just feels wrong and one can notice how the flow on the conversations feels too rigid and unnatural also the other person always looks like you lost getting into more deeper talks because get interrupted too frecuently and the question for the most are justtoo simple. None of what i wrote is with bad intentions but rather trying to help, adding the subtitules later would improve the videos.
Bof un bar à fille ou les gars paie pour voir des filles en infirmière, rien de nouveau, leurs discourt sembles apprit par cœur "j'aime boire de l'alcool"
Japan Explorer, this video is awesome! I enjoyed listening to the conversations Japan Explorer had with the Si Onn, Maya and Tsuki! The alcohol bar looks amazing! Nice. I was worried the lineup by the theater square was mostly scammy but glad at least some are legit.
