I sold my my coup because of the plastic piece in the back I hated it it made it look so cheap on such I a nice car stupid be side that Mercedes is the best car in the world

Just wrap it. In a high contact area low to the ground plastic just makes sense to be honest. If it was a painted or carbon fiber piece the rock chips or a fender bender would be an astronomical cost.
