It looks like they should definitely work with tag shells. As long as it isn't some dumb proprietary size this thing is definitely gonna take the cake.
For anyone who does not yet know, the arm does not protrude far enough to trigger Taginn shells. It looks like the arm is held in place by a retaining pin so it should be possible for someone to design and print a new arm with an arm that would start halfway down the trigger.
with that big outer shell and the short 40mm grenade, looks like you could squeeze an nerf rocket into the shell and shoot that out. I'd imagine it would be a ton more accurate
Yeah I think there’s a lot that could be done there using the shell and making other projectiles; beyond just this initial offering I think it could be an interesting platform in general for future use.
Kinda disappointed the shells don't simulate backblast, those super long gas shells should definitely be able to without sacrificing much, if any performance. Adds a new dimension for friendly tags, some kind of powder shot out of the back for marking?
if the bbs stay inside of the rubber shell, couldnt you fire it at a wall towhere the flimsy plastic inverts once it impacts a surface and fires bbs in a semi- scattered range? although they might not stay inside of the cone
You’d have to ask your local retailers. To be honest not even sure if any at all are going to the US, but some will be available to buy direct from Asia still. Some places sold out immediately though.
If you want a full metal one you should be able to get from Penghu Armament Factory (PAF), though they're a much smaller company and the cost is notably higher.

This is a product for people with extra money, want something unique and they are the "!ook what i got/say hello to my little friend" high energy airsofters but probably a good civilian training platform. Taiwain is in a hard place right now. VFC should probably make those rubber projectiles bright colored and maybe put a pocket for airtags
It's sized for them but the VFC grenades/gas canisters have very light and short triggers compared to some other companies' so will need to see how well compatibility works or if modification is needed to use a wider variety of aftermarket.

thats 1 hella glorified shotgun....even if u use taginn rounds a pistol grenade launcher will give the same results...so heres hoping that it firing nerf rockets properly
If can fire Tagg rounds with a replacement firing arm you can 3D print. There's no standard throw distance or weight for the triggers of different grenades so cross-compatibility is difficult in a system like this compared to an M203 style launcher.
Yeah not normally something I’d do; initially we were only going to shoot the rubber capa which have no chance of rebounding. We did end up shooting the burst shell but the nature of that also makes ricochets back unlikely. I would not shoot a shower shell without protection.

The MAAWS does not work with Taginn rounds. The trigger pin hits the round too lightly.

I’d imagine that if you give it a bit, either Taginn or somebody outside of the company will find a way to adapt it for their shells

They should make the caps something like blaze orange both for kind of a tracing effect and to make it easier to find them again.

If taggin rifled shells work in this then yes. There isn't a chance in hell those stock little rubber cap shells are making it that far.
