Amazing thing about her is that she spent all those years at the Fed, but she didn't drink the Kool-aid. OF course, as Fed directors go, Fischer was just about the best. And he trained her.
Danielle is super smart. She puts forward a couple of well rounded points in this discussion.

Interest payments on US bonds is not something that just disappears. Like all other types of spending, it ends up in someone's pockets. It's just as inflationary as any other type of gov't spending. The only question is where the money ends up. If it ends up in the pockets of people who like to buy consumption goods, the CPI goes up. If it ends up in the pockets of people who like to buy assets (ie. rich people and companies), asset prices (like the stock market -- P/E ratio, real estate -- price to median income ratio, etc) go up.

Tysons is pursuing cheap immigrant labor and they've said so, working with nonprofits in NYC to recruit. They employee something like 42k immigrants and they've said they would like another 42k if they can get them. That's partially why DHS has been allowing illegals to fly into the US and giving them work permits.

The Sahm Rule Recession Indicator published by FRED has the recession indicator at .5% rise and not .3%. Why the difference? Is it measured differently? The FRED also shows that there are a couple times where it has risen by .3% with no recession. Regardless, great information overall.

Danielle you missed something how many billions of dollars have the house and Senate spent on Ukraine and Israel..... are they getting US dollars or are they getting stuff we build for them in American defense industry. This seems to me to be stimulus spending under the guise of something else.
