Argonne and the BSSW organization present: I/O Sleuthing Part 1

  • On Monday, March 20, Argonne, in collaboration with the Better Scientific SoftWare organization (BSSW), conducted a half-day workshop on how to make the most of the complex HPC systems users will be working with.
    In this video, Argonne’s Rob Latham discusses concrete examples of the concepts associated with hardware one would find on any machine. Latham uses Argonne’s Polaris supercomputer as an example for users to learn about file systems and benchmarking.
