14 Reasons to live for. 14 Reasons to Die For. War is eternal. Our people aren't gone yet. We fight for survival, glory and honor. We will endure, no matter the cost.
@@14reasons58 War is eternal in some sense I agree, but even in violent times any given civilisation is mostly peaceful, I'd think that is quite objective. War is eternal does not really resonate when over 99% of the world's population as lived in peace for at least a majority of their life. As for the disappreance of a group of people, this is a guarantee for all cultures and peoples eventually. And there isn't really any possible argument against that, since I could always just increase the length of time by an order of magnitude. Do you really think even a civilisation as colossal as (for example) Europe will last for another 1000 years? 10,000? 100,000? And so on. This disappearance does not necessarily need to be a bad thing, sometimes at least, I know I wouldn't have preferred Celtic tribal civilisation to modern types, or even Roman civilisation, which is very overrated. Seems like I'm going to have to pay more attention to your compositions. This will be perfect for the final scene of my second book, when it's adapted to film. It's my antagonist's origin story, and ends with him destroying all life on his planet, inadvertently, while trying to save it. It breaks him, utterly, and shapes and informs who and what he ends up becoming, to justify the atrocity he commits. What he unleashes cleanses all life, and even oxygen and microbial life on his planet, killing its 6 billion inhabitants in the process, scorching the planet to its crust, and turning the planet into a lifeless body. I'm certain that I will be in touch, eventually, when all is in motion. Beautiful piece of music. Keep up the great work.
@@user-be9rq5re2l I'm in the final draft revisions for the saga, right now. I expect to have the first three books ready for publication within a year, which should set publication date at 18-24 months from now, if all goes according to my present writing schedule. When I get done getting my full VA disability, I will be able to write full time, and no longer have work interfering with my writing, dramatically accelerating my timetable. So, pray the VA is less awful than they have been in the intervening years since I left the Marines with a permanent injury. I will make you a deal.... when I have a solid publication date, I will post again to this thread, and let you know the title and planned date of publication. Once the stories reach the development stage for screenplay and video game adaptation(yes, I plan to do a series of games, and have high hopes of producing an open-world, sandbox, massively-multiplayer online game of pretty profound scope, which I plan to oversee and creatively develop myself, once I sign a deal with a studio I trust), the full saga should be released to hardback and paperback. It's an ambitious plan, but I have yet to have a single person who didn't get sucked in by the story, and the underpinning concepts. It's not difficult to write a compelling story when you have compelling characters, and my story is all about my characters, their relationships, their development, their flaws, their triumphs and failures, and how they take part in and bear witness to an alternate, semi-fictional but historically-founded timeline of humanity, since the time of early civilization, from the tail end of the Younger Drias period forward. And, of course, when the screenplay production for the second book goes into effect, my plan is to contract with a few composers, Greg(Secession Studios) included in that, to do a combination of remastered and slightly modified versions of existing music they've already created, which has inspired my final draft revisions, and helped me visualize and realize what I want to see in my book and on screen, as well as a collaborative original score. Greg's talent for dark, simple compositions that are surprisingly thoughtful and complex, for the initiated listener, will be perfect for the dark tone of the second book, as well as many of the darker chapters of the story. As an artist of another kind, who weaves a tapestry with words, and relies upon creative visualization, I spend literally hours every day mining the best, modern classical compositions I can find, in the hopes of being further inspired, and possibly utilizing what is a criminally-underrated genre of modern music, in the form of neo-classical composition. The fact that things like "WAP" by Cardi B get a billion plays and win a Grammy, but tracks and albums like this go largely unnoticed, is a travesty. So, you have my word.... when the time comes, I will post here, again, and give the details, if Greg is okay with me doing so on his channel.

The leader of the battalion wore red stripes signaling his position in the grand army. He was blade dancing with James. Each slice James was able to keep up with ease. James was just waiting for him to make a mistake. The leader overcommitted on a poke so he side stepped it grabbed his arms and flung his sword away and grabbed him by the throat, "I am sure all of you are...Fully aware of who is responsible for this" James growled. He looked at all of his men. Some of them were rather unscathed with a light amount of dirt and blood dripping from their swords. Others were injured. Broken pieces of equipment and blood splattered everywhere. Cerren was on his knees shaking one of his dead comrades. His face had a glint of light from a shallow pool of sweat on him. His features remained normal but you could recognize a tint of fire in his eyes you would only recognize once you have been around him for a while. "We have been deceived. Our king was afraid that we would figure out the truth. We have someone sitting on that throne sipping wine while we fight his battles for him! And what does he do to people who disobey him? What does he do when they figure out his deceitfulness and evil? He casts them aside! He disposes of them! He wanted to get rid of us, he wanted to because he was afraid. He was afraid of what all of us were capable of. Out of all the blood that was spilled for our king. And the comrades he had kill today. I say...it is only fair that we go...and spill some of his." A huge uproar came from the battle field. He stared the leader in his eyes. The leader looked in fear at James. "Tell King Zori we will come for his head." He threw him to the ground and he scurried off to the kingdom.
"I lived by the goverments rules my entire fucking life... As a prince and leader of the kings soldiers I secured the future of our nation, of our home and made it become stronger. It was meant to become a paradise. A place for everyone to feel safe. To find redemption... even for our enemies. After all this time of war, when our king my father got assassinated by our enemies and his 2 sons reign began and old wounds started to tore, this endless story of who should rule this land, continued... Once again war was brought upon our land and the two princes who didn't want to share the crown began their own cold war... just because no one knew who should finish what our father started. Is it that you two think he wanted?! To see everything he's been building burn to ashes by egotistical, selfish and ignorant lads who are unworthy of his crown?! Two idiots who put war over peace?! Not on my watch..." - The Banished Third Son, somewhere in a land far away
This is the crushing sound of a kingdom's light being extinguished by the howling winds of war, no ammount of hope, valor, unity or purpose can stand against the rapid firing of a thousand broadside batteries
They came at us with those tubes- those damned metal tubes that spit fire and metal and death. The royal guard's full plate suits had taken direct crossbow bolts, but under the fire and metal of those damned pagan assailants, they fell like flies. Many wounds had I suffered for my king in all my years of service, but dozens more my form did bare that day. Into the attackers did my greatsword go, and dozens fell before me. Metal tore through my arms, my back, my chest, my gut; my ears rang with blood and the echoes of my deforming helm, and in honest combat, hundreds of the pagan murderers fell to my blade that day. My organs tore under the shredded remains of my full plate, but still I faught untill my arms would lift my blade no more, my very muscles torn right off my bone, my legs crumpling under that same fate. The cult leader walked to me, _his last mistake,_ and stated "You won't tell me where he is, will you?" "You'll NEVER find my King!!!" I spat from a bloody, Broken-toothed jaw. He asked my last words, and I stated; "Valor is dead. And I, I go WITH IT!!!" With the last strength of my body, I acted once more for king and kingdom, and tore away with seven teeth at the manhood of that evil cultist lord, before his Metal tube blew my brains apart. I would die, but no line of kings would EVER replace the rightful King and his heirs. NEVER.
It was simple really. You see the hearts of the people had long ago been broken. They had toiled for years feeding a fat, rich king. They had suffered abuse, famine, and every sort of suffering. They watched their children die during the long, cold winter nights. You see it was because the king never cared for his people and never saw them above his roast pig laying upon his feast table. So that is why the day they came, the day our new ruler came, the guards simply opened the city gates. The people watched silently from their homes or the streets staring, hoping that the army marching through their streets had come to finally end their torment. The army was cold, determined, and singleminded. And their marched matched it. They moved effortlessly through the city towards the castle. There they found the king, as he was always doing at that hour, feasting upon the labors of his people. The leader of the army stood at the end of the feast table and removed his helmet revealing a young man similar in look to the king. "Well brother, I see you have treated our people well." "My people," the king corrected, but paused in his feasting as he noticed the men standing behind the young man, "As that why you are here?" "It is. I have come to reclaim this people and this land." The king laughed and took a large sip of wine. "Over my dead body. I broke them. I made them fear me. They are mine and they will never be yours." The young man smiled, "That maybe what you believe, but the truth is far from it." "Lies!" called out the king as he had lost his smile. This interaction no longer held enjoyment for him. "Guards take this intruder away to the dungeon." But they didn't move. They simply stood there. The king then stood and screamed into their faces, "I said to take them away!" Again, they didn't move. Fear began to take hold of the king's cold heart. "The more you made them fear you, the faster they ran to me," said the young man as he drew sword. "Now it is time to end their suffering." "No!" the king cried out as the young man slew him. The young man backed away from the body of the king. He then turned and stood before his troops. "Men today, you have witnessed justice. You have witnessed honor being restored to this people. You have witnessed hope in a new, better future. Never forget this day. Never forget what happened to bring us here. And never forget what we can become." The troops hailed their new ruler, and word quickly spread of the death of the king. And with that news came a new hope, a new purpose. The people rejoiced in their new ruler, the one who had freed them from their prison. And they never forget what he did for them that day.

"Was it worth it?" Came the weak and feeble reply of the man you considered nothing but a father. Battered and bleeding on the ground, his wares marred by blood flowing like that of a river from the wound you have caused. He was no longer the man you aspired to become, no longer the warrior to be feared...no longer the King that ruled. As you watched the life fade from his very eyes, you swallowed thickly as you were reminded how those very same eyes looked down on a boy with happiness and with a proud disposition. Now only filled with tears, pain and regret. It passed for only a moment and you could do nothing but try and strengthen your resolve, not trusting your voice you merely replied with a simple "...yes" And thus with those final words you saw how deaths scythe claimed yet another man from this world you look around the room, cold, dark and...alone. Clutching a gold crown defiled by the hands of your own. You ask yourself, was it worth it?

It breaks him, utterly, and shapes and informs who and what he ends up becoming, to justify the atrocity he commits. What he unleashes cleanses all life, and even oxygen and microbial life on his planet, killing its 6 billion inhabitants in the process, scorching the planet to its crust, and turning the planet into a lifeless body.

The cult leader walked to me, _his last mistake,_ and stated "You won't tell me where he is, will you?"
"You'll NEVER find my King!!!" I spat from a bloody, Broken-toothed jaw.
He asked my last words, and I stated; "Valor is dead. And I, I go WITH IT!!!" With the last strength of my body, I acted once more for king and kingdom, and tore away with seven teeth at the manhood of that evil cultist lord, before his Metal tube blew my brains apart. I just made a dumb quote
"Well brother, I see you have treated our people well."
"My people," the king corrected, but paused in his feasting as he noticed the men standing behind the young man, "As that why you are here?"
"It is. I have come to reclaim this people and this land."
The king laughed and took a large sip of wine. "Over my dead body. I broke them. I made them fear me. They are mine and they will never be yours."
The young man smiled, "That maybe what you believe, but the truth is far from it."
"Lies!" called out the king as he had lost his smile.
"Now it is time to end their suffering."
"No!" the king cried out as the young man slew him. The young man backed away from the body of the king. He then turned and stood before his troops.
"Men today, you have witnessed justice. You have witnessed honor being restored to this people. You have witnessed hope in a new, better future. Never forget this day. Never forget what happened to bring us here. And never forget what we can become."
The troops hailed their new ruler, and word quickly spread of the death of the king. And with that news came a new hope, a new purpose. The people rejoiced in their new ruler, the one who had freed them from their prison. And they never forget what he did for them that day.
This is a quote from a book that I'm writing and this song helped me think of some really good ideas.

It passed for only a moment and you could do nothing but try and strengthen your resolve, not trusting your voice you merely replied with a simple "...yes"
And thus with those final words you saw how deaths scythe claimed yet another man from this world you look around the room, cold, dark and...alone. Clutching a gold crown defiled by the hands of your own.
You ask yourself, was it worth it?
"The first flame quickly fades. Darkness will shortly settle.
But one day, tiny flames will dance across the darkness.
Like embers, linked by lords past."
-The fire keeper, Dark Souls 3
"Thy shall never rest my valour must shine bright I will return brighter than the sun colder than the moon darker than the night for I am true knight "-me if I was dying as a knight
We lost everything. Our streets. Our walls. Our homes. Our beloveds.. even our children.
-"What do we do?"
-"What can we do. We have nothing to lose.."
-"Then we will do everything."
"Do you think God stays in heaven because he, too, lives in fear of what he's created?"
This song and picture contained makes me feel like this guy was once a loving father , then having his children ripped away from
Him by his evil ex… one by one they are turned against him , slowly the hero the knight in battle worn armor becomes the villain in their hearts … this song is the knight accepting his fate as the villain even though he was innocent the whole time. In the real world the bad guys win.
I'm a simple man, I see Faraam Armor Set from Dark Souls 3 / Dark Souls 2, I click on the video.
Item Description from DS3:
This set is named after a god of war.
The armor of the Forossa Lion Knights was preserved even after the destruction of their homeland, and is mentioned in numerous legends, alongside the names of those who are said to have gone beyond death.
His music really fits with the Souls games

-sun tzu the art of war
"Are you happy now!?
You wanted war so badly, to show our enemies how powerful we were. What our new shiny weapons could do! But they were worthless! We couldn't hold our own, we were stopped at every turn, there was NO WAY were gonna win!! But You never listened to me or anyone! You didn't care about peace nor safety. So Now, be proud of our defeat, our *Defeated Kingdom!"*
-General to the King
"Who tracks our footsteps, I wonder?
We who are forgotten, the discounted and the ignored. When the path is failure, it is never willingly taken. The fallen. Why does my heart weep for them?
Not them but us, for most assuredly I am counted among them. Slaves, serfs, nameless peasants and labourers, the blurred faces in the crowd - just a smear on memory, a scuffing of feet down the side passages of history.
Can one stop, can one turn and force one's eyes to pierce the gloom? And see the fallen? Can one ever see the fallen? And if so, what emotion is born in that moment?"
There were tears on his cheeks, dripping down on his chafed hands. he knew the answer to that question, knife-sharp and driven deep, and the answer was...recognition.

Ok, man, you got it. You touched my soul...
May or may not have been inspired by the recent Gladiator marathon on the Sci Fi channel 😂 ⚔❤⚔
When Daemon Blackfyre died, his brother Aegor Bittersteel fought tooth and nail to make Daemon’s children and grandchildren Kings of Westeros. When he was mortally wounded in The Disputed Lands, he died at the age of 69 with a sword in his hands and defiance on his lips. His legacy would continue in the actions of The Golden Company.
Dude if it gets music like this pls do it more
Dark Souls is just so fitting.
