A lot of nostalgia there! I love that Tony chose Magic Bullets with no influence from growing up with them. Also Tranzophobia for me but MB is hugely underrated. Also, it's amazing how many of us went to that Snuff Kilburn show...I made a few UK-born friends here in Tokyo and they went too!
Hello! Ben from Senseless Things here - lovely stuff, this. Just one little thing - it was me (guitarist) who joined 3 Colours Red. Morgan (bass player) in fact had (and has) a great career following STs, with (among others) The Streets, Lily Allen(!), playing bass for The Who(!), and his main gig: fourth member of Muse. Cass (drummer) went on to great things, too: Gorillaz and Penguin Cafe(!) for a start. We’re currently circulating this vid among lots of members of the bands discussed over on Facebook and having a lovely time...
Ben Harding Hi Ben ! Apologies for the error there. The memories are a little hazy. Many great memories of seeing ST around Bristol in the 80s. Cheers for tuning in and sharing the video. It’s very much appreciated.
Ben! Thanks for the extra info and the share! I know I just chatted about the one LP but I actually own them all plus pop kid and shit kid shirts a stack of singles and a huge first of too many poster! Sorry again I def meant EMPIRE of the Senseless not kingdom haha I have it on the shelf behind me in the vid! Take care!
Tony, thanks for picking us to represent the 'also rans' :) Great to see someone's still keeping the UK melodic hardcore (or Fraggle as I prefer to think of it) flag flying stateside. Stubbs does sing & play guitar on Fuck Me USA as well as producing that record. None of us went on to stadium filling bands unfortunately but I hope to get back to mixing bands down the 100 Club again if that's ever allowed.
@@celebratedsummerrecords5621 No doubt. It makes the most sense that they would have been on No Idea at the time but, go figure? It also probably didn't help Leatherface much that all BYO could repress were Cherry Knowle and The Last.
Awesome vid.
Pence!!! Awesome show!

The Pocky Punk what an amazing that gig at the Kilburn was !
@@AnalogAttack I was only 18 and quite drunk but things that stick in my memory were the support bands all doing Snuff covers and the footballs!
Great episode, Tony has turned me on to so much good music over the years. And if anyone ends up visiting Baltimore his shop is not to be missed.

Forgot to mention Cass’ latest project: Loup Garoux g.co/kgs/yqMxtq

Hard-ons what a great live bands they was.. 😝
Indeed!!!
Hello Mike! Good records again. 😝
Cheers!
This is really fantastic and informative! I learned a lot.
Thanks for tuning in!
Apologies to Senseless things I meant to say EMPIRE of the Senseless not Kingdom of the senseless haha. Thanks for having me on mike!
It's a fine line between empire and kingdom!
IMO it’s their best album. Homophobic Asshole! What a glorious noise!
This was great. Shout out Tony and DEEP SLEEP
But, Leatherface were actually on BYO in the states from the HWM split through Dog Disco.
Thanks for reminding me! Probably got it confused due to no idea distributing BYO (who also had reasonable prices)

Looks like no idea did do a live LP for them that also could have led to my confusion
I got too sick to see Snuff/Samiam when they came through. Still bums me out to think about it.
Great watch! Though I ask that you both spin Fuel for the Hate Game by HWM and rethink your opinion ;-)
I'm ready for the challenge :)
