- A simple explanation of angle kappa - how it is formed, how to detect it & its clinical significance. This is a very complex chapter; however, given here is a simplified version with the just the bare minimum essentials for a post graduate resident. The material in this video alone is adequate for the examination in both theory & viva.
Very nicely explained otherwise...😊
Ablation in Lasik can be centered.
But IOL with current technology?
It will center in the bag.We have no means of adjusting it .

hi isnt it a true EXOtropia rather than esotropia the reflex moved inwards to take up fixation when uncovered??
If you are speaking about what you saw at 4:32, then the eye moved outward & so this is esotropia
Mam, can the positive angle kappa be treated with surgery? Thank you mam
No. A positive angle Kappa is normal. Positive Angle Kappa greater than 5 is abnormal.
@@ophthalmologypearls Thanks mam so what would be the best option for someone with positive angle kappa that’s causing pseudoexotropia?
Ma'am is there any term called exit pupil also ? Thank u for such simplified video on this topic
