This actually a Japanese design Shinkansen model 700T. Modified design for the Taiwan’s system with additional safety systems to conform to European equivalent standards. Tunnels are larger allowing for a shorter nose compared to the Japanese examples (tunnel boom much less of a concern with the larger tunnels)
