If u go up against a vi for example running black cleaver she can take away 44% of ur armour which means not only ur resistances are cut in have but ur damage is too
You are right! Armour shredding also counters Rammus, not as much as true damage but champions like Vi as you said will indeed hardcounter Rammus with armour shredding!
In case of a mixed damage enemy team I like getting an Abyssal Mask too. That improves both your passive damage, your attack magic bonus, your Wits End's & Thornmail's procs by a big chunk! Also, I like getting the new magnetic boots enchantment, it's a sprint and a second taunt, which is awesome at locking down enemies till their death ;)
for me the only downside of rammus is he's a teammate reliant champion. If he goes in and his team doesn't follow up then he'd be pretty useless. Also, rammus' clear speed is slow that's why it'll be hard for him to get objectives faster if he's doing it solo. Unlike champs like khazix who can literally solo drag for like 10 seconds

it can't be higher because it's 100% team dependent so if your top dies 1v1 multiple times and your bot loses 2v2 it's already gg, there's no way you're going to recover. Higher ranked junglers have better chances to recover than him and 1v9 is impossible with him. But every time enemy comp has 4-5 ad is prob the best choice for me.(master lan )

That's why you should never go Full AD Comp 😂 Way back then i just pick Rammus because i thought it'll be a fun champ to play i didn't really think of his potential but later on i realized how strong he really is and it is true that true dmg is his weakness but with the right draft you are gonna be having fun playing Rammus ( I was not expecting Hell's to release a vid about Rammus so i was really happy that he did make a video on Rammus and i would love to see other underrated or forgotten champs next vid,The fact that Hell's is trying to master every champ is so insane and brave ❤️ )
I have played some Rammus recently and I can say that playing him with into full ad with no true damage/reduce armor isn't just unfair, it's straight up godmode. I got caught by 4 people and just walked out, they took at least 15% health by hitting me. And that was just with 1 item...
@@blaym4271 upgrading 3rd ability is not worth doing since it has terrible upgrade ratio (from 1 sec of taunt to 1.25) so getting fist ability upgraded will make it faster and deal more damage then after getting first ability it's dependent on which you prefer but getting 2nd ability is gonna be better cause of extreme armor buffs it gives.
Man I always throw when teammates trastalk me. I try to be positive, motivate my teammates and try my best the all allies still target me, my brain goes off, I throw and then I am still SWP because they suck. I definitely wouldnot survive with all chat on you are a legend Hells.

No Hells, at 20:59 wild rift changes the def stat on the stat screen at the end of the match. It means the average damage taken per death, you did died once so that the total damage that you tank is double of that number.
There is the bullet icon for the total damage taken in the bottom right corner at the stat screen at the end of the game. Its the second from the right, first from the right is the amount of gold, then damage taken, damage dealt, then the team fight participation, then at last is the all stat. If you click the second from the right you will see total damage taken and damage taken / gold ratio.

Rammus is soo good if u keep on ganking with him. U should just roam around the whole map and start fights whenever you have a chance. He is my fav jungler. And he one of my champion with high winrate
using the roll to juggle enemies than taunt them to snare twice is mmmmm, then when they flea you ult. my fav combo, works even better in a team fight. You can also use it to feign by rolling away and sonic charging in
I am a Rammus main in plat and I do not understand most of your picks here. Rammus is all magic and AP scaling, so iceborn gauntlet does not make any sense here, as it boosts physical damage and not magic or AP. Thorn mail is a great pick but it is boosted off of armor scaling, so picking things like Nashors which has no armor does not sync with thornmail. Rammus is an all in tank jungler who does massive amounts of passive damage to champs by forcing them to attack him and take that reflective damage, why take power away from that? Why wouldn't you go zeeks convergence and crystalline reflector to boost armor and give more reflective damage back to taunted foes? I feel like frozen heart or randuins are much better options than what is being presented here. Even Sunfire Aegis would be a better last pick item since it scales off health to do more magic damage. I just don't see the point of this build as it negates a lot of Rammus' power. I currently run Zeeks, thornmail, mercurys treads, crystalline reflector Dead mans, and frozen heart, with the last item being replaceable by randuins or sunfire for maximum reflective magic damage. AA champs are butter with rammus, abuse that.

Ok, look Hells, I'm gonna straight up say it before even starting the video, it's as simple as this: Rammus against a long but specific list of ad champs, is literally S++ no doubt at all, like, he's ungodly, literally the most broken champ against ad champs in the game in my opinion BUT, Rammus against most ap champs is... not necessarily bad, but probably around A tier, maybe bottom of A tier, or middle of A tier, in some cases against champd like ap melee ones or champs that are weak to cc(akali is both ap melee and weak to cc, for example), maybe then he can be top of A tier or even bottom S tier, obviously taking in mind the major build changing depending on the matchups and overall situation... I hope my thoughts are the same as yours, because I am a deep Rammus believer but, let's be honest, even though I play Rammus like good himself, I see a ton of players trolling with Rammus, sometimes because they play like garbage but mostly mostly because they pick Rammus without caring about the matchups, which is VERY WRONG, since Rammus is one of the best COUNTERPICKER champs in the game, and can be abused veery hard against some comps

I climbed from gold 4 to emeralf 4 playing pretty much only rammus using thornmail wits end iceborn gauntlets everygame. Hes an insane champ that got me into jungling and people underestimate his damage.
@@drakloak2835 Jax top, Rammus jungle and Annie mid were my picks to climb to diamond, cause people weren't used to deal with them as much as they do now (Especially Jax cause people pick/ban him often now.)
Jax is waaay too strong from gold to diamond because even if he falls behind he can still carry late game. Had a 8 win streak with him before I lost once, then got another 9 streak right after
if i recall i got up to a 13 win streak with rammus, the nice thing about playing jungle is you rarely get put into another role if its your top priority.

He's weakness is not "burst damage". It is just heavy magical damage nukes in conjunction with CC.

No because crystalline reflector dmg scales with AP. Rammus doesnt build AP, so u don't get value from reflector.

If I end up as jungle (my fifth, so hardly ever happens) - BUT if, then Rammus is my way to go. Rolling around, farming and ganking a bit. Fun!
