I never got to that point. I started racing late as a senior in high school. I rapidly got better and was able to get my GS points down to the 80s (under the USSA’s old system which started at 990) in only 2 years; but I blew my knee out in DH before I even got to ski in a FIS race. I knew plenty of people who went on to ski for the US Team though. P.S., I made the mistake of skiing on my college ski team with only 2 years experience. When I went to race DH, I did it without a coach because NCAA rules prohibited college coaches from coaching speed; and I just didn’t have enough experience in speed events to ski without a coach. 😢
Sorry the super bowl ski racing is no longer the hardest ski race on the world cup circuit was canceled because the hill was so difficult and that hill was sugar bowl california.

I really miss being in big races for me the bigger the better the more excited I would be and I would ski better too. .
