Greetings from Chicago... I have been watching Nigerian Nollywood movies for over 15 years, I'm African American and a Pan -Africanist married to a Togolese woman, I'm looking forward to moving into our home in Lome... I was proud to see Nollywood on Netflix, I watched as many as I could always giving them a thumbs up to support them, and the producers do this... Why? Why? Why? SMDH... So sad...

I'm not cool with the idea of Netflix being in Nigeria. The United States entertainment industry has done censorship when projects are brought to America for years. Walt Disney censored an Australian cartoon called Bluey on different occasions which included a seat going into one of the characters crouches. On Netflix a Cowboy Bebop female character was all covered up when she wasn't in the anime from Japan. One Piece character Sanji who smokes doesn't smoke in 4Kids version they brought to the US backed in the 2000s. He sucks on a lollipop. Find another business in the US that will not have that censorship like Adult Swim. South African films might look good but is there censorship when its brought to the US?

We, Africans, are going down very fast. We have created a culture of celebrating politicians and scammers (the worst we have). Shortcuts are now a norm. Where did we take integrity? I have my side hustles. Hired old friends to do projects for me (they begged for that). I came to do checks and realized that they were delivering low quality work. When I asked one of the guys why he was using shortcuts in doing projects, he said, "we are looking for money! We are not here to please anyone? Clients have not complained, why are you?" I closed shop the fools are now unemployed! Our leaders represent who we are. In Kenya, we have what we call tenderpreneurship. Crazy Kennar has captured it in his comedy. Only 20% of the finances allocated for projects are used. The rest are used to buy homes in Dubai and South Africa. We need a paradigm shift. We need a moral reboot as Africans.

I Find this episode offensive as a nigerian. We don't need netflix. neflix need
nigeria more than nigeria need netflix. We are the market and also we have the product. Your analyses is bias because you are only seeing it from one angle, Do you know how much netflix makes from one movie and do you think they share the profit with the producers of the movie after giving them 1.5mil ? . And please always focus on your topic and stop bringing old clips that are not completely true to get people agitated . Talk more about the problem in your country and leave Naija alone. I have seen on youtube in america where a producer was talking about how he spent 4mil on a movie and made over 200mil profit. Do you think netflix will share their profit with those african producers ?
NETFLIX IS STILL VERY MUCH IN NIGERIA do your research. And africa needs nigeria more than nigeira need africa we have done so much for africa, so when you talk about nigeria show some respect.

NETFLIX NEVER PUBLICLY MADE CLAIMS OF LEAVING NIGERIANS DUE TO THE LOUSY CLAIMS HE MADE IN THIS VIDEO. That's an ignorant level of misinformation that comes from his passion for promoting hate against Nigeria. TH-cam and Google take these things seriously so if you click the report button and use 'misinformation' and 'promotion of hate' as a claim, this guy will learn the hard way. If just less than one percent of Nigeria clicks the report button on this guy's page, he will have some serious issues and learn to create balanced pan-African content instead of the childish content that clearly comes from his sad obsession with Nigeria.
