I do not compose, I enter public-domain music to create accompaniments. Tchaikovsky (among others), chose to use multiple time signatures simultaneously in different instruments and, curiously, Sibelius cannot handle this. Maybe you could address any best practices you might have for dealing with this in Sibelius. My solution was to enter one of the time signatures (i.e., 12/8) and then, for the 4/4, I would convert their rhythmic values to tuplets and quadruplets as needed. Of course, the reverse works as well. Sidenote: Interesting new name for your channel.
