    I do not compose, I enter public-domain music to create accompaniments. Tchaikovsky (among others), chose to use multiple time signatures simultaneously in different instruments and, curiously, Sibelius cannot handle this. Maybe you could address any best practices you might have for dealing with this in Sibelius.
    My solution was to enter one of the time signatures (i.e., 12/8) and then, for the 4/4, I would convert their rhythmic values to tuplets and quadruplets as needed. Of course, the reverse works as well.

    Thank You! I have conducted music with every measure a different Time Signature but did not know how to create one myself just for Rhythmic Fun or Sight Reading. BRAVO!!👏👏 Name change I assume because of legality.
