A rumination on a 2/5 review I got in 2017 on Amazon for the BBS Documentary. Believe me, I'm quite sure the BBS Documentary is quite fine, but it was nice to remember how weird and unknown the project started out as.

I don’t know, dude: I watched that documentary twice. And the fact that you let the interviews and storytelling drive it made for a LOT of content. Sure, I was hoping for more of a narration with more B roll as you talked about the tech and history, but it’s obvious you chose a specific route and hit it hard.
If you’re reading this, keep up the awesome work. 😎
Man, you remind me of me if I understand this correctly: you had a cushy admin job that paid decent, and just took those wages and made this dream happen regardless of the cost. So much travel. That’s awesome.

Loved the documentary. I am too young to have used BBS's but consumed a lot of early-internet content from BBS's and was always curious about the culture that produced it all.
