Ma'am I've found you recently and I simply love your channel. After a long time I've found a teacher who teaches literature with such depth and nuance. I'd been missing such insights in my life, finally my understanding of poetry seems to be widening
Ma'am I am not a student of English Literature or nor I was but I always like to listen your videos. I like your poetry analysis and literary criticism that are also like a sweet melody of beautiful song . Your recitation and line by line explanation have enhanced my love to English Literature. Thank you so much ma'am
Its interesting how throughout his life he was misunderstood, perhaps even isolated, hated, villainised, did that inspire mary shelley to write frankenstein? When he died a collection of poems by keats was found in his pocket. Keats died in 1820, he wrote this poem in 1821, he even wrote Adonais as a tribute to keats,. it reflects his state of mind.. perhaps he was so deeply grieved by Keats's death that it affected him in such ways which culminated to an end... cant even say anything because romantic poets always have a tinge of melancholy surrounding them...although different people but somehow connected with each other ideologically and almost spiritually...
Chanced upon your channel as I was listening to a recitation of “To A Skylark”. I’d say I found a treasure trove. I am going to explore further and listen to your talks about Milton, Blake and many more. Your mastery of the subject is terrific. Very informative visuals make the subject wonderfully interesting. I am based in the US and still yearn for things I learned back in India. Thank you!🙏🏻
I can't thank you enough. I am following BA in Arts, and I'm currently in the 2nd year. We had this poem for Romanticism subject, but the explanation of our lecturer was so poor. She just kept skipping stanzas to cover the given lessons. However, ur video helped me a lot to understand the overall concept of this poem. ❤
Ma'm your class is very helpful. As I'm preparing for HSA, I am a frequent follower of yours. But ma'm sometimes there are some mistakes in the year which you have texted in the slides. But the people who carefully attended your class will get the real year and full idea.
Ma'am please don't take any disrespect from this side but the second wife of P.B. Shelly and the novelist of Frankenstein is Mary Shelly if I'm not wrong. May be this mistake was overlooked. Mary Wollstonecraft Godwin was her mother.
I have my exam tomorrow and i am so depressed that I couldn’t find your lecture on Don juan canto 1 and Adonais 😢 I hope you will make video on these two so that people like me don’t have to be in despair before exams….. From Bangladesh 🇧🇩

Mam, 'shrill delight'- Is it an example of oxymoron? Shrill sound is something that comes from a high frequency and when we hear it, it makes us irritaing. So, I guess, these two contradictory words 'shrill' and 'delight' are juxtaposed for a striking effect.
Mam I am going to make preparation for my interview and it is humbly requested to give lecture on wuthering heights and doctor Faustus and John done as a metaphysical poet
Maa'm can you please give some tips on how to read Don Juan and Hyperion? They are so long. And is skiped by most of the teachers. I have them in my syllabus . Please help me.
@@NibblePop yes madam, actually madam I gave you rest for a while 😁 , as nowdays I am going to ask you lots of questions very frequently 😁😅 . Thank you madam

Is "silver sphere" moon or Venus?
I would rather think it is Venus.
22.00 in many of the explanations, it is said that... silver arrow means MOON only. Then why Venus? I understood ur logic but majority is with moon.
Maa'm can you please give some tips on how to read Don Juan and Hyperion? They are so long. And is skiped by most of the teachers. I have them in my syllabus . Please help me.
Thanks mam. Especially for explaining the structure rhyme and pattern.
"..... those heavy winged thieves" - is it a metaphor or conceit?
Conceit is an extended metaphor. In this case you may call it conceit as the metaphor is actually extended over more than just one line
