    You explain the importance of trigger settings and one shot screen capture really well here.
    The hantek is not a bad tool, but its only as good as the person using it.
    That can hi (6) and can low (14), I hear what you are saying there, I think of it like the shape of the obd11 plug in the car.
    It's plug is shaped like a child may draw a small ⛵ (without the sails) then if you were to draw that and write the numbers on the boat from left to right ( the same way we read a book) the 6 would be on the top line ( can hi) and the 14 would be on the bottom line (can low).
    This helps me remember that 6 is can hi,
    The way I have tried to explain it may make me sound crazy.

      @@TheGibby3340 my last video made use of SINGLE capture mode but I've never thought of using it for CAN work as you've shown here. It's a good tip!

      Hantek 1008 doesn't have AC coupling option. Cheers 👍

      @@carlosvallejo4326 I suppose it would depend on the circuit under scrutiny…External BNC coupling filters (with respect to the Hantek 1008) can be purchased at very reasonable cost. Should they be required. Cheers 👍
