Great color i love it! I have a client soon who is a warm blonde naturally. She wants to fully bleach her hair and get it super platinum and add a darker shadow root. I want to keep it all super ashy but I dont want the shadow root to turn green. I was thinking of doing an ashy shadow root, but would you recommend adding a gold colour to my shadow root to fill the bleached hair? Thank 😊
Hi Mr A! We recommend using the NA or NUA series for a cool-toned shadow root. The N in both of these shade series will provide enough natural coverage for the blonde without looking hallow.
I love this technique as it produced a very lived in blonde ... think the platinum card technique is great for darker levels but it wouldn’t produce such a great lived blonde !! I can’t wait to try this on my level 7s looking to go lighter !!! Thank you soo much!!!

I love this, beautiful work! Also, yes this took longer but clearly you charge the client accordingly. I know I would pay more to get this look. I would use foil if my guest was a darker level but she didn't because she didnt need to. Double process was the way to go. Thumbs up
Honestly, this girl looks like virgin hair and if she had used fouls the first time then she wouldn’t have had to do a double process. I guarantee this chicks hair is fried.
My platinum hair was over processed over a year ago where I was forced to go dark due to a lot of breakage. I did a lot of treatments which have helped and i started doing highlights not too bright and my hair is ok. Id love to try this but i dont know if i should wait until My hair is healthier or the bonding will help
Hi Lauren! Great question! Depending on the client's hair density, length of regrowth and desired end result, foils may be a great option for your client. If your client prefers a natural shadow root, you might try a babylight technique in a halo sectioning as well as a few foils on top within the client's part. This will provide brightness around the hairline but keep the look very low maintenance. Then follow with the same application process in this video for toning. If your client prefers less of a natural shadow root, you may try hand painting just the regrowth area and follow the same sectioning pattern as step 2 within this video.
Great question! Unfortunately, there is not 1 answer. We recommend reaching out to your local hairstylist to see what they charge and how long the process is for them. Thank you!
Hi there! If you have professional access to our products, our mixing ratios and instructions can be found on the containers as well as inserts in some of the color boxes. We also have directives on our website as well. Hope this helps!
Hi Anetta! This would need to be handled on a case by case basis for various factors, and we would ultimately recommend having a consultation with your stylist to make the best plan for lightening while maintaining the health and integrity of your hair.
Excellent finished result. However, in the real world.....many stylists don’t get the privilege of working on virgin hair and we often need foil to break through the gold/orange tones. Also, stylists generally start in the back because the sides lift faster.
Awesome video!! i am about to try and recreate this look at home. Just wondering how would i retouch this Look when my Black roots start to grow? Do i bleach my roots again and then use 8NUA again? im confused! Thank you in advance!!
Easiest approach when you have really dark hair is to lift pretty much everything and then neutralize warm tones on mid and ends, and add shadow root similar to your natural tone but not as dark. That way you blend away future regrowth. Or you know, go to a hair dresser and get airtouch, it creates highlights without needing to bump up your base
Hi B L! The primary benefit of Simply Blonde Beyond Bond is to maintain hair integrity during the lightening process. The processing time of 45-55 minutes allows for the product to provide lift power while maintaining the condition of the hair, creating the ideal palette for toning or any other post-lightening color service."

Im trying so hard to find the right blond for my skin tone!! I have 5blue green grey eyes, very pale skin with a little bit of yellow in it. My veins are also green and blue. I love the pale colours but also electric colours like blue or redish pink. The only colours that makes me look awful is true tomato red real brown and very light cool colours like lime or very dark muted both earthy and cool toned colours. I get along with pastels and light true and tender colours also i love grey and blue on me! Jewels i could say the light gold suits me perfect, silver is okay too but rose gold is catastrophe! My hair is brown with redish in it and when i was a kid i had honey blond hair and tanned skin even on the winter. As i grow older i get some redness i dont know whyy... can you help me please and tell me whats the right blond for a skin type like mine? Thank you!!!
Same!! ... down to the honey blonde as a child! It was sort of wild reading & thinking me too, me too! I have always been fond of a more vanilla blonde which seems to look well on me and of course during the process there are other tones of blonde that appear from the natural variation that exists in my natural color - creating some dimension in the blonde. Sorry I don't have specific info on products to give.
Try Kenra beige rapid toners. (They are a true neutral & work with several levels of blonde). I'm not the quickest when applying to myself, so I dilute it with some clear in a bowl and apply to the shadow root area first. Then I mix up more in a bottle (diluted with a little clear as well), and quickly apply to mids, then I brush it down onto ends and lastly do face frame. Wash, condition, and I end up with varying tones of light sandy blonde, that fades into a bright vanilla at ends and faceframe
I loved this video, and crave more like it. I am needing more Kenra edcuation if I am going to stay with the companies product. We unfortunately don't have much available here.
