Despite my travels around the world, I am always happy when I arrive in my home city of Rotterdam.
Rotterdam is a modern thriving city full of modern architecture such as the Markthal and the Erasmus Bridge. But also the lively river where you can use the many water taxis, or take a cruise with the Spido, not to mention the splash tour with an amphibious bus.
"Rotterdam, the city that never sleeps, is always in motion. The skyline, dominated by iconic buildings such as the Cube Houses and the White House, and the iconic building “De Rotterdam” designed by the famous architect Remco Koolhaas is constantly changing and reflects the dynamic spirit of the city. The streets are filled with a mix of cultures, which contributes to the lively and diverse atmosphere.
The city is also rich in history, with the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen and the Maritime Museum providing a fascinating insight into Rotterdam's past. And let's not forget the bustling Witte de Withstraat, known for its trendy bars and restaurants.
