I would like to subscribe to your Practical Programming Course, however English is not my mother language, So i need subtitles to learn. My listening English is poor. So, are English subtitles available on your Courses videos? Or like YT, auto-subtitles can be used. Thank you.
This course is excellent, but I need to put an idea into practice. For example, I need a specific, simple application with a graphical interface, so how do I come up with this idea? thank you very much
If you want to build a graphic user interface, C# has many great starting points like WPF where you can drag and drop onto the designer and build your application. However, it's always good to learn a core tech first and understand the concepts. If you jump into WPF for example, you have to learn about XAML and Data Binding at least. If you want to learn about using strings, the console is a good place to start off with. You can make a console based application with input and output. For example you can print a list of items as text, then read the user input to select an item, and do something from there. This can be a calculator app, a shopping cart, etc. You will have to work primarily with strings, and understand techniques like sanitizing and validating your strings. All things that don't matter if the front end is GUI or console based applications. Once you learn how to work with strings like that, you can start learning the GUI application side like WPF or another framework.
we do exactly that in my C# practical programming course, just not with WPF but instead with Windows Forms which are origin of WPF. Make sure to check it, I'm sure you will be delighted :)
Perhaps in the future, but right now I'm focusing on C# since there is a higher demand for C# developers in the market. I want to help as many young people as possible land their first job.
