If Brockton had any backbone they'd tell parents that if their children behave like thugs the parents will be REQUIRED to attend school with the kid. Make these parents accountable! And if they don't show up for the kid their welfare benefits will be halted until they do. If that doesn't work put the parent in jail.
The kids act this way because the parents are FAILURES.

Amazing how the unfit parents are not the Focus of what the problem is.
If you have enough violence in a school parents should be facing charges for what their children are doing.
Asking for national guard is a ridiculous thing to reach for. You don't volunteer for the guard to be babysitting other peoples violent children.

The teen stage is the rebellion stage of life. You can't blame parents for the rebellion of teens. Many come from good family backgrounds and guess what??? THEY REBELL AND COMMIT CRIMES, ETC . They know the difference between right and WRONG and many choose to do wrong. Did gov hold your parents accountable for your sins and misbehavior? 🤔

Brockton High School has no respect for disability services. I was born with a balance disorder called Cerebral Palsy. When I was a freshman at 15 years old in September 2010, the school refused to make accommodations for me to join Mr. Hogan's acting class for four years. I had no choice but to wait until I attended Massasoit Community College to start taking acting classes in September, 2015. I was 20 years old. The high school also has the worst academic advisors I have ever worked with. I got a bad GPA score when I graduated in 2014 because they never encouraged me that I needed to make accommodations in my future college prep classes to transfer to Bridgewater State University at 19 instead of at 26.
One way to improve Brockton High School would be to eliminate the Green, Red, Azure, and Yellow cafeterias because students being assigned to eat at a specific cafeteria promotes exclusion, discrimination, and segregation and the lack of personal social growth results in people realizing that they are not getting the social practice and inclusion that they need to master before they graduate. Students should be free to sit in whatever cafeteria they want with their friends regardless of the color of the house.
Another way to improve Brockton High School would be to give future students the chance to register for three classes during the fall or spring semester instead of doing five or six classes at once.

@@LL-bl8hd Thank You for the reply. I graduated from Massasoit Community College in May, 2020. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Theater Arts. I’m currently attending Bridgewater State University for my Bachelor’s Degree in Film. I've completed 16 acting classes in 6 years. However, Bridgewater is also mistreating me. The university refused to override my last 3 movie classes to include me. They also didn’t tell me I needed to register for 3 electives to boast my credits by 9 points. Because of this, Bridgewater is asking me to consider rescheduling my graduation for this Christmas instead of this Summer.

Brockton high has always had a race problem, I was there in the late 70's and it was horrible then. There were certain groups who would walk through the hallways in the core and assault you if you didn't clear the way by putting your back against the wall and wait for them to pass by, sometimes they would just shove your head against the wall after knocking the books out of your hands because you looked at them while they passed. I have formed opinions from personal experiences and yet I am called a racist for my wanting to avoid certain people. I decided to never put a child through what I went through and have never felt better about not leaving a child behind to face what has just gotten worse over time.

This stuff is really sad. Parents around the world need to raise there kids better its sad that they got the military involved, and it's also sad that it to came to this point. The parents have to discipline their kids and cannot let them do what they want. First it's the parents fault for not teaching them. Second it's because of this country because they let the kids do whatever they want to do. This country makes parents look like bad people because they try to discipline there kids to grow and be better people. Because of this school not teaching them good. Second, this country make these parents the enemies of their children by teaching them crazy things, and parents are very scared to go talk to their kids because their kids might report them. God says you have to discipline your kids. when you don't, they become dangerous, and God will punish the parents for not disciplining them.
