Its nice and easy but the extra folds its still showing i need a clean paper with no any trace of foldings but its ok this was helpful and I made a way how to do want I want or do 3 folding without any trace with this
@joshovideos 1:04 do you mean like this but taller? You can go about this the same way, just take the steps one by one with the paper in the portrait orientation. Also, it's easier to make the creases if you fold the paper in half both ways first.
Thank you! I make quilt blocks and one of the blocks is sewn into a block, then cut up and rearranged. It is to be cut into thirds. But 11 1/2 divided by 3 is a very odd number and I have not been able to be accurate yet.
So useful, fast and helpful, just what I needed! Thank you!
This can be done with a square sheet as well, just follow the directions step by step. Hope it helps! :)
You're welcome, thank you for watching!

what a fun mathematical proof this was!

@joshovideos What dimensions are you referring to?
how do you do that witn printer paper?
The same way.
thank you, this was super helpful
Thank you from Portugal!
@youzurnayme dividing thirds using very long paper in portrait. is there even a technique dividing it to thirds?
@ninjpat this can be done with printer paper. Just follow the directions, it works for any size.
0:43 / 1:17 you mean right
Thank you!
make a tutorial of dividing thirds using very long paper.
ugh ... this mathematically proven method applies to any paper dimension
superb
how are u supposed to fold a rectangular paper diagonally?
Sumehra Ferdous it is impossible
Ik
thanks!
Amazing
thank you
it doesnt work on rectangular
Yeah but then your paper has all these ugly folds that you don't want
or u could just measure it and divide it by 3; common sense.
the point of origami is that you don't use anything apart from the paper and your hands; common knowledge.
Hey, You know there's a thing called a ruler and a calculator.
I have to divide odd measurements...11 1/2 for example. Very hard to measure that.
What a joke
