- Ube Halaya or Purple Yam Jam is an all time favorite FIlipino dessert made from boiled and mashed Purple Yam. This rich and creamy ube halaya recipe is also used for bread filling, cakes, and other dessert such as halo-halo and ice creams.

Ingredients
500 grams Boiled and mashed ube (purple Yam)
1 can Evaporated Milk
1 can Condensed milk
1 Tbsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 Tbsp water
1/8 cup Unsalted butter or margarine.
Prep time: 10 mins.
Cook Time: 1 hour
Store in an air-tight container
Shelf life 2 weeks in the Fridge
1 month in Freezer

Thank you for the recipe this is my choice except I won’t use condensed milk just tiny brown sugar.
