I visited Grimeton today, July 18, 2023. It was amazing to see this incredible facility in person and marvel at the technology, innovation, and expertise behind this marvel of communication. There is also something particularly beautiful about how machines from this era were manufactured and designed. We had a great guided tour by a young, talented, and knowledgeable woman included in the ticket price. The only thing I missed from the tour was a more technical description of how and why the machinery was structured as it was and how different parts were connected for various purposes. I understand, of course, that the tour should appeal to everyone and not just tech enthusiasts, so no harm in that. But give the information with a flyer or something that you are on TH-cam with more content! It was pure luck, that I took a chance when I got home and, to my immense joy, saw how the liquid resistor worked and everything else! Fantastic! My heartfelt thanks! Peter /Landvetter
Very good copy in Belgium. I had to move to a quiet location with a portable setup, to avoid man-made interference, but very nice signal on just a 20 cm ferrite rod antenna. Thanks for the nice job, to the whole team. Best regards, Patrick ON4CAZ.
Well done & congrats on 100 years! And here's to 100 more..cheers!

Sure wish the mic was better! This is a one time event and I am disappointed that this wasn't checked before hand!
How about showing that frequency?

Do the chat messages return? I wanted to read the reception reports. It was difficult in Eastern Netherlands, about 10 dB snr.
I don't get how TH-cam works! The chat is somehow hidden, I lost it again. Why does this chat states 0 reactions, I see at least 10....
Second transmission in Munich west RST578.
With knife switches and open bus bars. with large voltages and currents.. clearly health and safety was not a primary concern 100 years ago.....
They had a job to do! Sissies and the ignorant need not apply!
