      It is subjective. I have both, and there are elements of the lines that one is nicer than the other and vice versa. The M4 will turn heads more from regular people. It has more modern styling. For enthusiast is another story

    Brilliant video. The E92 M3 is a special car. It is the kind of car you drive and forget to turn on the radio. The sound of that engine is music to my ears. Cheers!

      You're absolutely spot on right! Even though I have top of the range premium sound system in my E92 M3, I never turned it on...I prefer to listen to that sophisticated V8 music through the Armytrix titanium exhaust I have on ;-) Oh ya!

    Yes, it's better looking than the M4. Plus the V8 on it sounds so much better.. I agree that I would like a real cupholder on center console, like in an E46. Thanks for this informative video. Can you guys make a video on taking this M3 as-is to a regular racetrack?

    One thing I haven’t heard any reviewer talk about how the DCT is ultra reliable. I was looking at the service records of m3s I was interested in and noticed none ever had clutch replacements done. I did some research knowing just how garbage the m5 SMG was. I discovered that the DCT clutches are easily lasting to 100k-200k miles.

    Definitely agree with the message of this video (but not so much with the cheesy script), if you are more interested in the experience of driving the car (rather than the numbers) the E92 is so much more rewarding and enjoyable than the F80 M4

    Extremely disappointed when I test drove 2 of them last week. All the hype and certainly did not live up to it. Shifts were slow, power was lacking for a V8, feels boaty and heavy around the corners... Definitely not the truest definition of a "driver's car" in my honest opinion. For the price of this competition package version, I will buy a 997 911 Carrera S, would even take a base model Carrera too or even a much cheaper Cayman S.

      Sounds like you didn't get it up in the rev band which is where the car shines. It's not your typical V8 with low end torque so keep that in mind.

    • @freud2695
      @freud2695 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Buy it. AP BBK, Akra Evo, ECU and DCT Tune, Wheels, Ohlins + sway bars + camber kit, semi slick boots and you have a V8 supercar for the road. Forget about a 997 other than the 997.2 GT3 maybe. And even then that V8 with an Akra and tune sounds better. IMO.
