i found it easier to bolt in the bottom first (loosely), made it easier to get the top to line up. I adjusted the jack close but a tad high, then I could lean on the seat a little until the top lined up perfectly and bolt would thread easily. thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for watching and sharing that tip. If you are already a subscriber to the channel...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed to the channel I'd be honored if you'd consider doing so. Thanks for your support and ride safe. 👊👍✌️
Thank you Stuart for watching and subscribing. They are great shocks and I may do the front over the winter. I appreciate your support and look forward to your comments on other and future videos. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👍👊
Wow. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm very impressed. I'm basically done with my 19mako. I did bars, seat, audio, suspension, shield and that's about it. Stock exhaust. I like my tunes. I'll keep an eye on your channel. Stuart. 👍
An excellent upgrade and great tutorial Rick! Great job! It's odd to me that I'm quite happy with my OEM shocks on the Revival. Maybe it's the mechanical shock under the seat making the difference? 🤔
That would be my guess. That police style seat probably helps. I think the icon Electra Glide has a 13" shock on the back which may help as well. Ride safe Eric. 👊👍🇺🇸
I'm running FOX 13" on both my 17 SGS and 21 RKS, great products especially for the price. Harley MOCO needs to put better suspension on these $$$ bikes from factory.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I've also heard good things about Fox. I agree the MOCO needs to step up on suspension at a minimum. I appreciate your support and if you are already a subscriber...thank you. If you haven't yet subscribed I'd be honored if you'd consider subscribing to the channel so you don't miss any of the weekly content. Ride safe and enjoy your ride. 👊👍
Thanks so much for your time and comment. Yes the Legends are a ride changing experience with out a doubt. I actually enjoy riding much more with them and don't have to anticipate bumps...lol. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Any investment to improve our motorcycle safety and comfort is always a great investment on my books. I can’t wait to hear about your riding experience and let us know what your impressions about it. Cheers amigo, Eddie
Thanks for your time and your comment Eddie. I will say at this point huge improvement. Not more flying out of thr seat when hitting a bump on the highway. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👍👊
Can’t say I know much about shocks. Sorry. Maybe someday. Lol. BTW Just made it to Ironhorse Motorcycle lodge for Womens Freedom ride getaway. Also, I used your video to check my PIN. I did change mine.
The stock shocks are really that bad?? How are they gonna sell bikes for their crazy prices with crappy OEM parts?! I really do like HD, but they make some questionable decisions. Good install, Rick xD
Here is the thing...the stock shocks do the job but are not good. Most people don't know how bad they are until they change them out to an aftermarket option. The difference in comfort is night and day. With the stock shocks set appropriately for my weight, I would literally get buck out of the seat hitting bumps at highway speed. Then add a 2 up and game over...constantly bottoming out just on slight dips in the road. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 👍👊
Thanks. I appreciate the kind and supportive comment. I saw you sent and email. I'll be reading through it tonight and I'll get back to you. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸

If you want a safe motorcycle but you need a car get a bmw i3 range extender it’s a ev car but when it runs out it has a motorcycle engine on it so just don’t charge it and you got a very safe motorcycle😂🤣

I've run Legend Aero A for several yrs now. Had 1 issue, found their customer support 2b 1st rate 💯👍
Thanks for your input. Much appreciated. 👊👍🇺🇸
*Amazing.... Big thumbs up friend 👍👍 Stay connected friend 🤝❤️ Thank you so much for a beautiful share*
Thank you. 👍👊
Great easy install! Good job on saving the shocks from the last bike. 👍
Thanks Nore. I appreciate you brother. Ride safe. 👊👍🇺🇸
Good to see you dialing in that forever bike.
That's the Road Glide not the CVO....The CVO needs suspension help as well.
@@HDVIBE I figured that out as I kept watching. I was like wait, what? Ha
Yes...that one is next. It's suspension is about as bad.
Outstanding upgrade and install video! Top notch as always!
Thanks brother. I appreciate your support. Now I need to do the front and get the CVO upgraded. Ride safe and enjoy.👊👍🇺🇸
@@HDVIBE Yes sir! One of the best if not the best upgrade I’ve done to mine 🤙
Yes it's night and day difference without question.
Really want to see this one as this is my next big upgrade as well
Thanks Art. It's definitely needed. 👊👍🇺🇸
I cant wait to hear how they feel on your rides.
So far is like night a day. No more flying out of the seat when I hit a bump on the highway.. 👍👊🇺🇸
I subscribed. Great shocks. I have them on my 19cvo road for glide. Front and rear. I did the A's. Great video. Stuart

Just a short note for future installs WD40 will keep the thread locker from binding. Unless you clean it out with a non petroleum based cleaner.
Thanks for sharing the tip. I actually did use some WD40 but obviously off camera. I appreciate your support. Ride safe and enjoy the ride. 👍👊🇺🇸

You bottom out?!! Crazy.. I've not had THAT level of shock problems. Yeah I'd be changing them out.
Yes...bottom out and fly out of the seat when I hit a bump on the highway...but not anymore.
Can’t say I know much about shocks. Sorry. Maybe someday. Lol.

Keep that stock Harley-Davidson shock just in case you ever have to fix your storm door.
Now that's funny Eric. 👊👍🇺🇸🤣
@@HDVIBE yeah I kind of went down a notch with that one. I'll be nice from now on I promise.
