What a season for McDavid! A career high in goals with 64, a career high in assists with 89 and a career high in points with 153 becoming just the sixth player in NHL history to score 150 points in a single season! Joining Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Phil Esposito, Steve Yzerman and Bernie Nicholls!
@@hatrickane The 64 goals are more impressive because he is a Center as well. Sometimes people forget that Center's have a harder time scoring goals because most of their goals will be based off of skill & finesse, because they are usually not the ones that are passed to the most even strength & on the power play. But usually wingers & Offensively gifted D-Men. McDavid is also the first center since Lemieux 95-96 to score more than 60 goals in a season. The only other players to score that many in this era where Ovechkin & Stamkos. Only Stamkos wasn't a center back in 2011-2012 season when he did his feat because Lecavalier still had a few good years left in him around the time Stamkos really began to start making a name for him in TB.
I am from Fiji🇫🇯. Been a fan of Edmonton🇨🇦 Oilers and Ottawa🇨🇦 Senators after watching NHL ice hockey for first time in 2020 at 28 years old. In soccer, Peru🇵🇪 and Tunisia🇹🇳 are my favorite countries just to think of Canada🇨🇦 because of red-and-white.
Hey man, just curious- I'm thinking of starting a hockey highlights channel myself but I was wondering if you are able to make ad revenue off of these or if you can't because they are copyrighted?
What happened after the regular season? Two things, he had to play outside of his super soft division. And the other teams don't let you figure skate to the net in the playoffs.
What happened after the regular season? I'll tell you, first off he has the third highest points per game in the playoffs all time- only behind gretz and lemuiex, second 117 points in 74 games in the playoffs: close but not quite 2 points per game. Third, in this year you are talking about he had 20 points in 12 games, almost 2 points per game yet again. If we are talking about his other years though here are some of his accomplishments, 2024- broke gretzkys PLAYOFF assist record, had 11 points in 7 games in the stanley cup final, and had 42 points in 25 games yet again almost 2 points per game, and guess what he did all that stuff in 2024 playoffs with a torn abdominal wall, pretty impressive if you ask me. Oh and also, how is he only playing in his division, he plays against other teams yk? And he has so many highlights in the playoffs, I don't get what you are on about on your second point. I could go on but I don't want to embarrass you so I will leave it at that.
We will look back on these highlights as one of the greatest to ever play the game
Great way to describe it you're surely right about this!!
If he wins some cups, selkes, and gold medals he will be the greatest, he is already the best though.
What a season for McDavid!

Absolutely nuts!!

As an Avs fan I appreciate him never scoring on us this season. Thanks McJesus 👍🏼
🐐
Thanx for the uplaod Hatrickane!
You're welcome dude :)
That number looks insane on video lol
Ikr lmao I wonder if he'll get >64 goals this year
Connors hitting 70 next year
Anything is possible with McJesus 🙏
My best bet is 75-80 if he has similar improvement compared to last offseason
@@AWCTB I honestly could see him hitting 75 paired with 160 next year lol.
@@jfedol7760 I definitely see him having the best scoring season for a player lacking the last name of Gretzky or Lemieux.
@@AWCTB Should've surpassed Yzerman if he didn't slack off at the end IMO.
I think at his max potential he could score 72-75 goals.
Just hit 1000.
Wow

You won't make any ad revenue if you upload any nhl clips since yes it will be copyrighted.
Ah yeah kinda figured, but thought it was worth a shot haha! Thanks for the response!@@hatrickane
@@nicholasonciul5770 Yessir no problem! Enjoy opening night!

I’m very lucky
