They had a down year this year and only lost 3 games and beat the SEC champions. Yea they lost to Vandy and Oklahoma but only haters will remember that over everything else he did. Have whatever opinion you want but he’s a lot better than he gets credit for. I promise Georgia fans are throwing parties over not having to play bama in the playoffs.

jalen milroe has had higher standards because he came in right after bryce young did, and in my opinion young was the best qb saban had at bama. my cousins have told me over and over milroe is trash and simpson will be better, but i love and am greatly appreciative of what jalen milroe did for alabama
I love the kid, he’s a great person. I just believe we’re all ready for a change because when one player makes himself your entire offense, (he mad himself it given the fact he wouldnt study the game enough to pick apart EVERY defense he plays) when he fails or is limited we lose. And it happened 3 times this season. Im just excited to stop losing our star and talented offensive weapons and to have a breath of fresh air.
Milroe started off with an OC that said he should be a RB .... then had a crap OC in Tommy Rees who didnt know SEC ball ... then had a first time playcaller OC in Nick Sheridan .... never had a QB Coach. MilroeBeGreat has been getting way too much hate when it wasn't even his fault. There was one game this season where it was actually his fault. Every other game was the play calling. They saw him struggling and decided to keep calling the same plays. It's stupid
I’ve been super angry at Milroe several times this season, as many have. HOWEVER, once I took the time to think about just how much this young man carried on his shoulders, I began to wonder how he was able to be as amazing as he was. First of all, the best coaching all of football history, who was also Milroe’s coach for years, unexpectedly retired. I’m just a fan and I grieved like I lost a close family member, imagine how the players felt. If that wasn’t enough of a gut punch, half of his teammates hit the portal when Saban retired. Milroe was the starting quarterback, therefore, he was the one who had to take the lead and keep those who stayed positive about the future and help get people to support the new coaching staff. Not to mention, hundreds of thousands of Alabama fans, who, like myself, have been spoiled with SO MUCH WINNING under Saban. We stopped appreciating championships a long time ago and began expecting them. With all that to worry about in football, Milroe was working on his Master’s Degree in the classroom. Talk about stressed beyond imagination. Milroe remained loyal to the team, and continued to be among the best quarterbacks in the league. Who wouldn’t have a bad game or two with all that on your shoulders? I have the upmost respect for Milroe. I truly appreciate how Milroe kept it pushing and led the team to a better season than any fan truly expected. Listen to his speech when he received the Doak Campbell award recently. You could definitely hear Saban’s influence in that speech, and also a young man who gave his all to the University he respects for giving him an opportunity to showcase his talent. Milroe was an amazing quarterback ~ his good games were unbelievably great and, during his not so stellar games, he was still better than most quarterbacks for other teams. Much rather have him playing for the Tide than against them, that’s for sure. Look forward to seeing him be extremely successful in whatever his next endeavor may be, and that success has been earned & well deserved. My upmost respect and appreciation to Milroe for all he gave the Tide and to all of us who are die hard Alabama fans.

Their isn't any really big dawgs in the Big 12 so you never know what will be a big game next season, they thought Oklahoma State was going to win it last season. The ACC has only 8 conference games which is borderline unethical with how bad that conference is. That's how they avoid all the good programs from playing each other
Milroe could drop down to late 2nd or mid 3rd draft. Milroe is not a NFL QB. For his size, strength, and speed TE. He’s a human bowling ball. Milroe can’t play QB in the NFL. He was a mediocre QB. The NFL QB requires quick reads and recognition of deceptive defensive schemes. All of which Milroe failed in college level competition. NFL backfields are much faster, and LBs are bigger and faster than college. NFL defensive 4 down lineman will be bigger, stronger, and faster than college. 2nd or 3rd, and it’ll be late nite when his name will be called.
Oregon is losing approximately 20 starters after this season, so that’s how they MIGHT lose multiple games next year…idk if they’re going to suck, but it’ll be a totally different team
And Oregon is literally playing the toughest/hardest schedule any one team has EVER played if they make it to the natty this year!! The three best B1G and three best SEC teams, plus Boise state on a program best season for them. Matt needs to shut up‼️ keep B1G schedules out his mouth, and focus on his loser conference‼️‼️

MuttBeGump, it wasn't Milroe's fault. This season's problems were mostly due to coaching schemes and the overall lack of quality receivers other than Ryan Williams (who is only 17 years old, btw). Isaiah Bond would have created more passing options for Milroe (like he did last year against Auburn).
Montana St is FCS so yep toss them out....but the other 11 games? That's an easy schedule? At PSU, at Iowa, at Wash? OkSt just got bad this season & definitely wasn't when they confirmed the game....

If things go a certain way we'll be looking at undefeated FCS champion Montana State playing undefeated FBS champion Oregon in week one. Will it be a balanced game? No, Oregon's still too stacked but is it literally the BEST cupcake option you could have? Count on it. And just how cool would that be? Two undefeated national champions facing off to start the season? When will you ever see that again?

Feel bad for Milroe because 1. I think he is a great top notch guy and 2. If he had played anywhere else he would be celebrated as a fantastic QB. Bama is Bama though. Not that it is the same but it is similar to Milton. Top notch amazing guy and the team loves him, but just not a good fit for the system or expectations of the program

Feel bad for Milroe because 1. I think he is a great top notch guy and 2. If he had played anywhere else he would be celebrated as a fantastic QB. Bama is Bama though. Not that it is the same but it is similar to Milton. Top notch amazing guy and the team loves him, but just not a good fit for the system or expectations of the program
