I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen on 2/22/12. It was the day after a concert he played in with Barry at The Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, Fla. He was lounging in the pool area at the hotel with his family. I was quite a distance away. I said to my husband "I think that's Stephen Gibb over there" (the tattoos gave him away). My husband said "Even if that is him, what are you going to do?" I said "I'm going over there to meet him". My husband wanted me to leave him alone, but I knew I'd never get another chance. So we walked over to where Stephen was. There were a couple of empty lounge chairs next to him and I asked them if they were taken. He said no, so we sat down. I talked to Stephen for a few minutes. Before we got up to leave a few minutes later, I asked Stephen if he would sign my concert ticket and allow me to have my picture taken with him. He said yes to both. Thank you, Stephen! That was my second time meeting a Gibb. In 2009, I met Barry and Robin (and some other family members also) at The Palace Hotel in Manchester, England. I was there attending the 50th anniversary celebration of The Bee Gees. That was a life long dream come true!

I really enjoyed this interview. I first became aware of Stephen when I saw videos of him playing and singing with his dad. His father’s pride in him was obvious. I loved his singing. The Bee Gees are the soundtrack of my youth. Barry is a brilliant songwriter/singer. A genius poet who has touched the world with his words and music. He has earned his retirement. Selfishly I am sad that will never get to see him in person. I was hoping for Greenfields Vols 2-20 😊. Looking forward to the Kennedy Center honors.
Stephen, I wish you the best in all that you do.

Now if Stephen could get his dad on his Insta account every now and then life would be good.

This was a good interview. It was interesting to hear his musical story. And you can feel his love of music, the writing and playing. He has his head on straight and that is a plus. Good for him. You make the music that you like, it is your art.

According to Kennedy Centers page on Sir Barry, he's among the most prolific, acclaimed & influential musicians to have lived. Guinness World Records & Billboard list him alongside only Paul McCartney as one of two most successful popular songwriters of all time. Btw, Kennedy Centers Honors is Dec 3rd!🎶

Enjoying this interview for the second time. Stephen is always a great interview as he is so very interesting, genuine and definitely has a lot to share. I had the opportunity to meet him in person a few months ago and found him to be friendly, kind and very much like he is in this interview. So glad Stephen has been there for his dad through the difficult times and we've seen them share the stage over the years. Wishing Stephen continued success and happiness in the coming years.

Thanks for this interview. I've always been interested in the children of the Bee Gees and watching them through interviews and other events in the media as they work their ways to their own paths, being true to themselves. I wish all the best for Stephen and will support his music, as I have done for Samantha and Spencer, all fantastic musicians and people!

I recently saw a segment that Matt Damon was told when you go to Australia - be warned that everything wants to eat you.! Bet Stephen' s dad had some interesting stories growing up in Australia. Interesting listening to Stephen... Thx....

I like your songs but I don’t like the way u talk you use the f word to much. Your teaching your kids to talk like and it’s ok when it’s just vulgar
