You can also select a bunch of nodes, right click then "selection to group node"
it will compact everything into a single node and you can save it as a component to use it anytime you want in a workflow.
I did this for some stuff like upscaling processes, and etc.
Yes it is very unusual, but it is better to do that after making sure that everything is working fine
