I came to your channel through James Delingpole's podcast and that video was a delightful suprise. I just visited the Sienna cathedral this past summer. Very fascinating to think that Edward de Vere once was there. Needless to say that connexion didn't occur to me while visiting, nor did I remember that Giordano Bruno was condemned over his hermetic beliefs. But I did notice the depiction of Hermes and wonder how its presence had been tolerated by the church. Having studied English litterature close to 30 years ago, discussions of the authorship question seem to have advanced so much. None of my professors at the time (both French and English) took it very seriously at the time - although the French lady, especially, did mention how little solid information there actually was about the man from Stratford.
In recent months I came upon a TH-cam channel about numbers and distances in France's geography, monuments and sacred sites. Some of that stuff is quite incredible. An interesting point Alexandre Rougé makes is that the French cathedrals were built under catholic rule but the builders themselves were not necessarily, or not at all "card-carrying" members of the church, but rather French gnostics. Descended from Gauls, Celts, Visigoths. And not all orders were cut from the same cloth either, e.g. Benedictines very different from Dominicans or Jesuits. Rougé views both current offcial catholicism and freemasonry as impostors (much as I do). Am I wrong in assuming that a reconciliation is in order within christianity, or Western spirituality, whatever you want to call it ? It's just an intuition, but I feel such a reconciliation with the whole of our identity, will be a condition for healing our current crisis?

Hermes is clear that ‘mind is God’, he even states “The matter composed of the finest particles is air, but air is soul, soul is mind and mind is God’ ('Discourse of Hermes to Tat'). Later he says ‘Mind rules all and is the Soul of God’. Marsilio Ficino made a great effort in the 15th century to align Hermes’ teaching with Christianity, just as the Thomists attempted the same with Aristotle, so the Christian spin on Hermes mind of God would be the Pauline concept of man acting by the grace of God within him from 1 Corinthians 15.10: "But by the grace of God I am that I am, and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all - yet not I, but the grace of God within me."
All the encrypted references to the Sonnets being ‘By God and Vere’ acknowledge God as the 'Mind of man', whether in the Hermetic or Pauline sense is perhaps not obvious though I would suggest that the surreptitious nature of these messages points to the former. I was interested to note also in the Hermetic corpus the sentence ‘knowledge of God is ascent to Olympus’ which I think helps to explain the Stratford monument’s curiously unChristian contention ‘Olympus habet’.

    • @ernestisom5878

In regard to the first couple sentences I've had those thoughts myself that the air we breath animates and retains all knowledge. That the body is more of a puppet to air that does not know it's self.

    • @celticwinter
      @celticwinter 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Not hard to see why Christians were fond of some ancient philosophers. Though they never fully "inherited" their works with all their conclusions, but used what was salvageable. This is based on the notion that, with just the mind and no revelation on Gods part, it is possible (though difficult) to recognize parts of truth about God.
Christians think that God in Himself is all spirit, but clearly they don't think along the hermetic lines of mind=air=soul=God. The Holy Spirit is also not just the mind of God, it has personhood. Some ancient philosophers were held in very high regard - and still are. (The rich tradition of Christian mysticism is by nature of course a lot more open in these things)
You'll find the same with stoicism - which is having somewhat of a revival I believe. It was initially seen as not incompatible, but then had clear some influence on Christian thinkers.

Beautifully put together and presented. That is the kind of knowledge I would associate with God-like people, encapsulated in the great pyramid itself. To be honest, I didn't realize Dee was so deep, mostly because I'm wasn't so sure about his character after his later alliance with Kelley. It suggested a certain naivete. I've read Dee's published diary and he comes across more like this presentation, careful and well respected, popping out to see the Queen, etc. A high learned man for sure. But this level of connectedness is unexpected. With the great number of presentations on the geometry of the great pyramid, it's good to find one that's based in the Hermetic idiom it should be, and so cleanly presented.
Very poignant video, I thought. Concise and definitive. It effectively proves Dee's intelligence and astuteness, to even recognize and use the importance of these numbers, all the way to the root of the cosmos in his monad symbol. No wonder he was respected. Many thanks for this wonderful series of presentations you have made.

And if you take all calculations and reduce them to a singular number (31,680...3+1+6+8+0 =18...1+8=9 and so on), they all reduce to the number 9.
Look up Vortex mathematics and the Rodin coil, also the book Quadrivium (wooden books publication as a recommendation), these should connect more dots.

All good stuff, all building on other's works (codes within codes? 3 T's concealing a 4th T, bisecting the sides of a triangle revealing 3 upward pointing triangles and a 4th down pointing).
...note at 9:17 the sun is pictured in front of the moon (deliberately backwards? does not actually occur but from the sun's prospective sometimes the moon partially obscures the earth).
Di Vince's Vitruvian man (drawn in 1490?); is often erroneously described as a 3D man standing in a 2D square a 2D circle (and associated speculation about "rounding the
    square/squaring the circle")
... "BUT ACTUALLY" he stands in a 3D cube (6x6x6, man is the beast given his power by Satan?) and a 3D sphere of equal volumes (accurate to less than a tenth) no small feat without a
calculator ... original was carved with stylus into parchment not merely drawn on it (viewed original in Italian museum to appreciate the dimensionality subtly invoked).

The line on the Shakespeare statue in Leicester Square: "There is no darkness but ignorance", echoes the line in Marlowe's The Jew of Malta, where he says: "There is no real sin but ignorance".
Shakespeare rarely borrows from other writers, but he does with Marlowe, as in this rather poignant tribute:

What a stunning analysis of perhaps the keenest mind of the Tudor period, if not one of the finest minds this country has ever produced.
I'm still working my way through the Monas Heiroglyphica (the 1946 translation by J.W. Hamilton-Jones in the Samuel Weiser reprint) in a copy based on the Second edition of Dee's original (the Frankfurt 1591 edition) and the subtlety of Dee's mind is astounding - I think he would be very much at home in the modern world and have often wondered what someone like Dee would have done with the technology we have available today.
Thank you so much for this, Alexander - every time I watch it I understand a little more.

This fascinating and un-dismissable. Would it be possible to explain a little more the meaning of 'the quaternary rests within the tertiary' and what these guys believed the trinity was? I'm sorry if I'm being slow - I know it gets spoken of very often in these videos but I don't fully understand what they think it meant in spiritual terms. Is it that the individual man exists within the fabric of god? Can you expand on this please?

Alexander! I’ve watched everything you’ve done :) very much appreciated this new video . You’re stuff is not to complicated or esoteric . I think it’s wonderful knowledge . Are you going to do anything more on John Dee ? Or Queen Elizabeth , I bet she had a number for her name . :)
I really enjoy your research , and it was interesting that you mentioned giordano Bruno , the only other person I’ve ever heard mention him is Santos Bonacci , another enlightening mind in the pursuit of knowledge and truth . He has a you tube channel and website .
I’m so thankful for your sharp mind , and subject matter . I believe we all should try to understand the world deeper , like these geniuses did . Could you maybe do a video on the three alphabets , to allow us to find our name in the trinity and quaternary? That would be cool .
Keep doing what your doing , I can’t wait for more ! Leonie northwest uk x

@@alexanderwaugh7036 Play Seven Backwards, it says "Novus", play the words "Novus Universe" backwards, it says "77", every 77 weeks Venus retrogrades for 43 days, 7 weeks are behind the Sun, funny thing is Eve hides in the center of 7, between the S'N, play the words "Sin Eve" backwards, it says "Venus".
"I see All, I Awesome" played backwards, "Messiah, Eyes See All"
You do know that if you place 3 sevens (777) together, they form a 60 degree triangle.
77 is the gematria for Christ
Every 77 months Venus and Mars conjunct, 3 times in 9 months.
The 4th T disappears like the fourth side of the cube, 3 sides of the 6 is the most you see, the 3 sides, 6 edges form the outside, join in the center by 3 edges, 6+3=9 and 63\9=7, circle where each edge meets, they add to 7, the number of Triangles Mercury makes every 7 years with 22 retrogrades(22\7=Pi), having a 88(8+8=16=7) day year, 7 degrees above out path around the Sun, which is tilted 7 degrees, Mercury turns so slow but circles the Sun so fast, Mercury has only 6 days every Earth year, unless you count mercury's Double Sunrise as an extra day, then it's 7 days a year, 49 day days every 7 years to go with the 7 triangles, created from three 21 day retrogrades, each 120 degrees from the last, 7X7=49 is the number of days Venus spends behind the Sun, and every 707 days, you can find Mars back at the same star, Mars retrogrades is 70 to 79 days, and 79 is the number of years the Sun dances, with it's little swing form the 7 degree tilt, and 79 be the number of years that both Mercury and Mars finish their cycle.
7x12=84, thats a Uranus year, 7 years in each sign, and 29+5=34, a Seven, a Saturn year is 29.5 years, and Jupiter year is 11.86 years, that equals 97, which is another Seven.
Like Venus and Seven, they speak too, see if you know what its saying. I use "Say It Backwards", but it works with all of them
      "Cinerary-New Dust-Her The Priest-Wife of Seth-Serum-Thru-New Womb-Sin Eve-Here Ra Come" Backwards "Mercury-Venus-Moon-Earth-Mars-Asteroid Belt-Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus"
The Stars spins one way and the planets spin the other way
      Now the Zodiac
      "Her Message-Say There Is A Guest-Her Bid One-Wise Quotas-Her Birth God-Heart Beat-Her Mithras-Boy/Girl-Way-See God-Yah Lord-Her Snake-Newest-Beyond The Mist-Am-Say Oath-She Read-Her Bid-Strong-She Saw-Say You Will Talk-You Will Be Fed-No Go Back-You Will Re-Nest" Backwards "January-Capricorn-February-Aquarius-Aries-March-April-Pisces-Taurus-May-Gemini-June-Cancer-July-August-Leo-Virgo-September-Libra-October-Scorpio-November-Sagittarius-December"
Those are the 12 zodiac signs, but we have 14, one is hidden and the other is small, go Backwards from 12 to find the 13th we call Ophiuchus, it has a hidden message too, "Sacred Aether", the 14th is found with the Sun, on the Summer Solstice, it sits at the tip of Orion's Club, "They All Rule" played backwards "Orion"
Maybe I'll show you more of those Sevens, but in the design of the human body, its there too. hope this helps you

It is interesting that we have a young generation of scientists these days returning to the hermetic view of reality.(I'm talking, to give one example, of the works of double PhD...philosophy/quantum physics...Bernardo Kastrup, and there are others). We had to go along way into the cul-de-sac of materialism before we began to rediscover what men like Dee and de Vere knew well: divinity is present in man because ALL mind is part of "the One", i.e. God .Thank you for this fascinating presentation!

@Alexander Waugh I would also like to contribute: an old pre-Cyrillic Slavian/ Slavic/ Slavonic alphabet answers the same characteristics you present here in a quote about the inherent significance of the shape of a letter etc. Eventhough the alphabet currently used for Russian has been reduced in number since then, the letter "Ж, ж" (pronounced like "j" without the initial "d" in English "joy" ) is still there. Russian words like: life, live and stomach begin with that letter of the shape that is the part of that one symbol, that has an P on top of it. There is also a letter with the shape "P, p" in Russian, it stands for a vibrating "R and r" in current English. The shape of R mirrored is the one-letter symbol for the sound "yae" (like German word for "yes") "Я, я" which to this day in Russian means "I", and is the last letter of these alphabets. There is also the letter "X , x", represented in English phonetic transcription as "Kh" and is the initial letter in "Christ": Христос. The concept of "divine race" as you present here in minute 5 seems to be based upon similar principles in the Slavian/ Slavic/ Slavonic Vedas ("Веды"). These originate from at least the period of which the above mentioned alphabet stems. It´s all rather new to me, so here it is in broad brushes. Much success for your studies and their dissemination as well as you personally. Much gratitude.

31:00 Every number on screen at this moment shares another notable characteristic: the sum of all digits is 9. The Mystery Number of the Goddess is the original occult number, noted by the first mathematicians, the Babylonians. The best introduction to the subject is an essay of the same name by Joseph Campbell. 7 is the number of Man, 9 is the number of the Goddess.

I thoroughly enjoyed that presentation. Thank you for all the work it took to prepare. Please note that it is an icosahedron, not isocahedron as icosi or eikosi is greek for 20.
Rather In the spirit of this talk, I have been working with the Platonic and Archimedean solids. All have a circumsphere which is the human being's original shape at conception and roughly our 'personal space' throughout life. The ratio of the edge length of a cuboctahedron to its radius is 1:1 - the t ratio between one's height and the width of one's outstretched arms. The cuboctahedron is the mean shape between the cube and the octahedron. The ratio between the edge length of an icosidodecahron - the mean between the dodecahedron and the icosahedron - and it radius is the golden ratio which is the ratio of the lengths (from the sole of the foot to the navel): ( from the navel to the top of one's head) . Furthermore the snub cube and snub dodecahedron have left hand and and right hand forms. Handedness is another phenomenon found in the human form.
I don't know what to make of these connections but they excite wonder.
I don't doubt that this is the kind of way Renaissance geniuses enjoyed thinking and contemplating.
But having watched some rabbis using gematria, it seems to me that you can make anything mean anything or connect anything to anything by using it. That doesn't seem quite honest.
But perhaps it has its value because we are not good at understanding that everything IS connected, especially in these fractious days!
When finding these coincidences using the measurements of the earth diameter, or the human body etc. they only work to an accuracy of 3 or 4 significant figures , whereas the fundamental constants are known to modern physics to an accuracy of 14 or more significant figures. That is impressive, even if modern scientists are almost incapable of seeing things as a whole.

      @alexanderwaugh7036  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you for your interesting post. ‘Isocahedron’ was one, ‘Vesalian’ the other - whoops! The evidentiary and exponential power of coincidences was what interested me here. Gematria is not concerned with probability, but divine connection - at least that’s what I perceive its practitioners to be delighting in.

And this one is my favourite that I've seen so far! It blows my mind in fact. I'd be interested to hear about your take on Dee's relationship with Kelley. I remember you saying in one of your videos that Kelley was Dee's great friend. Fun & super interesting finds using Decimal Parity = 9
    “Diameter of Earth” 7920mi | 7+9+2+0=18 | 1+8 = 9
    “Radius of Earth” 3960mi | 3+9+6+0=18 | 1+8 = 9
    “Diameter of Moon” 2160mi | 2+1+6+0 = 9
    “Radius of Moon” 1080mi | 1+0+8+0 = 9
the base of the triangle is 3960 - being the radius of the Earth - and the upright is 3960 + 1080 = 5040 - being the combined radius of both the Earth and Moon.
    5040 | 5+0+4+0 = 9
The angle of 51.84º derived from the combined radius proportions of the Earth and Moon (hypotenuse of this triangle same degree angle as the sides of the Great Pyramid of Giza.)
    51.84° | 5+1+8+4=18 | 1+8 = 9
    (Sum of the internal angels)

    Half of that 0.0439453125° | 0+0+4+3+9+4+5+3+1+2+5=36 3+6 = 9
From here the Decimal Parity changes.
