Hello,
I'm looking for some help. I'm hoping perhaps you can help me. I have a guitar that has a tremolo system that uses a compression spring in it's assemble. I'd like to upgrade this spring to be stronger, or, so it has more force then the stock spring that's on the guitar now. I have no idea how to determine what the stock guitar spring is rated at. I'm hoping to find someone, such as yourself, who clearly understands these things and is in the business of springs. To make things simple, I'd like to send someone, such as yourself, the guitar spring, so you could determine what it's rating is and help me find a replacement spring that offers more force than the stock spring that's on the guitar now. Perhaps a spring that has 50% more force or a bit more or a bit less, maybe. I'd probably order a few different rated springs to find the one that would work best for what I'm trying to achieve. Once I find the proper spring, I'd be ordering many of them. Can you help, or do you know of someone who could help me with this?
