I’m soooooo glad they ditched all the humps and bumps on the grip and trigger guard on the micro, please do that on regular dagger! I got the Anderson Gen 3 frame because I hated the look of the frame in those spots, and my fingers don’t jive with the bump on grip.
Those are great mags. They ran flawless in my G48 & G43. I gave up on Shield Arms as they can’t seem to get it together with their mags.(Correction: my G43 upper with my G48 lower which makes up the Glock G43X)
the screws will slightly touch plunger with an 407/507k and has to be filed just a bit to not touch. It will keep you from removing the plunger for cleaning purposes, and could cause extraction issues. I purchased mine with the optic in the package, and had to install it myself. It came with screws specifically marked to be installed with the optic, and it still just ever so slightly would touch plunger when trying to remove it and had to be trimmed. I'm not sure if the screws that came with the optic cover touch, but I think I remember them being fairly small and wouldn't think they'd be deep enough to touch.
Love it. I wanted a Dot on my G19X but didn't want to ruin my upper so I bought a Reg complete threaded barrel SW4 GatorMouth Cut Dagger Upper for $189 & slapped it on my G19X. With an OW Precision TAC Trigger, Master Trigger Spring Kit, 15lb Recoil spring, polishing & that Gap Adapter. 2.6lb pull w/ forced very short reset. The more you use the "real" snap caps the worse they'll get. Over time the actual bullet will sink into the shell casing. This causes the bullet to be "shrunken" down
You actually have 1!! I build a p80 frame (Glock 43) for this exact slide you are using. I had to file down the red dot screw to get proper function, other than that it runs flawless.
Aquired mine May 2024 in FDE. Well worth the wait! Outstanding shooter! Any reccomendations for OWB Kydex holsters for it? Also i have a holson optic i might use on it . Thanks!
Was on the shelf between the G26 and G43X. Both felt great, no issues handling either. I liked the slimmer profile of the 43X and with an Xgrip, the G26 ends up about the same height only compatible with all my current Glock mags. I was iffy on the SA 43X mags from the mixed reviews. Very glad I heard about the PSA Micro Dagger. If it shoots like the 43X, I'm on board. Seems like it would be a great EDC.
I have both a dagger and a 43x. The dagger doesn't preform half as flawlessly as the glock and the price difference is marginal. Get the glock with the psa dagger mags.
I read up on these micro a couple of days ago. Im interested in what its gonna be like as i just purchased my first dagger aand im gonna see if i like it.
I have purchased 3 Dagger compacts. I gifted 1 to my future son in law and one to a fellow retired Army officer. I have been carrying my FDE with nights sight for @ a month now. Shoots as good as my Glock 19 at half the price. If I were to advise someone on a budget I would tell them to get the Dagger compact and/or a RIA 1911 compact. My Rock shot as well as my Kimber ultra compact 2 at half the price as well. Grifted it to my son for his birthday/Christmas a few years ago. Got the dagger micro in FDE last month and will shoot it hopefully tomorrow.
The slides and magazines for the Micro Dagger have been available for a while and work great with the 43X and 48 Glock frames. The optic cut is RMSc compatible. The one in this video is still a fantasy gun until PSA finally releases the Micro Dagger frame. The dual captured recoil spring assembly design, referred in this video simply as a guide rod, actually pre-dates the Gen 4 Glocks. They were first seen on the Gen 3 Glocks 26, 27, 29, 30, 33 and 36.
How in the world did you get one of these guns? I've been looking for months for this frame to become available. I bought one of the slides and 2 of the magazines, but I cannot find the gun or the frame. Last Friday I got a notice email that the frame was back in stock. I got the email 40 minutes after PSA sent it. By the time I checked their website, it was out of stock. All I can figure is that the frame is still not reliable so they keep doing design changes and testing the new designs.
@@tacticalpontoon Is it a good gun? I can't figure out why they're keeping these things off the market unless it has a problem. There are probably thousands of people that can't wait to give them their money for one.
@@jcoolG192 I FINALLY found the frames in stock and was able to get one on the 20th. My order still says "processing" but they took my money so I should get it. I already have their micro dagger slide on my G43 and I bought a couple of the 15 round magazines a month ago. Finally I'll have the frame, which is $99.99 in case anyone is wondering. I was hoping it would be $49 or $59 like the other Dagger frames, but $99.99 is still ok with me. The G43x MOS frame is something like $250 for a stripped frame.
That’s the comped slide which makes it 48 length. The normal length is shorter like a 43x. It’s also quite a bit slimmer than the bigger 19/19x based daggers.
@@PippyLong-i3t The original Dagger is referred to as the "Compact" model and says so, on the left side of the frame. It's essentially a Glock 19 Gen 3 Clone. Glock also refers to the Glock 19 as "Compact" The Micro Dagger is considerably smaller and sized right there with the Glock 43X and Glock 48 models, depending on your choice of slide. So far, the Micro Dagger frame has never been available for sale, except for a few samples that were snatched up immediately.
@ quick reply, thank you so much. New to the community… as someone who’s a beginner and wanting to upgrade the dagger trigger… would it be easier in terms to just buy the drop in vs tune up? I’ve watched a full depth video on the tune up kit but worried about knocking out trigger pins as some are cautious when it comes to that. Would the drop in kit mitigate taking more things apart? Sounds easier (coming from a car mechanic standpoint) bolt on vs fabricating I guess
@EthanKhamvongsa the drop in would be simpler, and does give better results, but if you want to get your hands dirty or want to tinker, the Tune-up is a good way to do it.
@ sounds good! I truly appreciate your time but last question… what generation would be the Micro Dagger C-1 (bought 2 weeks ago)? I see it says to choose generation on the peacemaker daily 4 in drop in
So are you making a specific micro dagger trigger or can a throw the 43x you've got in there right now? Seemingly stupid Q but I've wasted money on an apex before and I just want to get this right if I swap triggers again
My 43x stuff will fit and, if you are more DIY oriented, I have a Micro Dagger Tune up kit that allows you to use your factory trigger bar and housing.
Thanks@@tacticalpontoonI bought your trigger when i used to have my cr920. Sold it and moved the trigger to my 43x. It's an amazing work of machinery. I'll always buy your triggers
I love that integrated comp version. I've been so waiting on this. Total goldilocks gun.

I agree I hate the finger groove and the hump on the back of the regular dagger. Hopefully they will offer a version without it like the micro dagger.

It might awhile before you can get one. If notified that they are available, you might get 30 minutes to buy one.
Availability has improved a lot . Bought the FDE version last month. Have yet to shoot it but I hope as early as tomorrow I wil.
Words were said. Disses we’re dissed towards mud… and people….. Look for another video if you want a concise evaluation.
Terrible reviewer lol
I wish they would update the frame of the original dagger to accept the Gen5 type guide rods..
Thanks for the review of a product that I have looked for many times, but literally have never seen for sale at any time.
I managed to snag one during the limited release they had.
I think the best slimline trigger is on the Canik MC9

I just dropped the order for this exact model. I have been waiting a long time for it to become available. I have the G43X and it is amazing.🎉
Sorry but those dummy training rounds seem like an accident waiting to happen
I could see that.

Agreed, you will want to cycle them for new after time....pretty much like any snap cap. They all need replaced after use.

Sure, but it also pushes the slide into operational condition
If I hadn't already invested as much as I have in my P365, I would probably get one of these
