Buckeye fans are fickled. Michigan State threw more at the Buckeyes than previous opponents. Listen carefully to what Ryan Day said at the post game. The first series of plays were to set up the Spartans for the 'curve balls' that Ohio State threw later. Those plays were set up to what MSU expected and go counter to MSU's expectation.
Defense played well too. The 7 points that MSU got would be good enough to beat any team in the country. The highest scoring opponent only got 14 points long after it mattered.
For college football this is as about as mistake free as you can expect.

Yeah and they only got that 7 off a turnover drive starting inside the 10. That's the impressive part. Eight yards to a touchdown and three parts to do it. Any competent offense should succeed at this 70% of the time.

As a born & raised Buckeye of 45yrs, I'm starting to become disappointed in our own fanbase. They gave up 7pts on the road at night in a B1G game, and people STILL don't approve. Learn the importance of gratitude.
@@honkykong4674 I get some of what you’re saying but most stack OSU up against the best in the country, understand what their strengths and weaknesses are matched up against them!. I think some make great points, some not so great but that’s the world that we live in today!. Every buckeye fan wants to see them get past SCUM, Win the BIG, Win the national championship!!! This is by far the best roster to win a championship with at OSU, I think that’s why some as myself know they can be even better and especially on defense!!! They need to start games more aggressively on the defense, don’t give anyone any hope!! I’m not worried about the offense, know they’ll score enough points to keep them in a game, thought the defense was going to be the strength of this team but they haven’t played like it to this point for 4 quarters besides Western Michigan!!. Can’t do that against teams that can hurt you with a great offense!. Go Bucks

OSU should have had 7 on there first Possession but a holding penalty caused them to kick field goal.Chiles is one of those QB you have to play for a half to get bead on. OSU needs to play aggressive Spencer is such a tool. Can’t stand Spencer I will admit his recaps are that of a 11 year old boy who only Remembers highlights from negative side.
After watching Alabama vs Georgia last night, OSU is not looking like they will keep up.
But, keep learning and improving. OSU gets the W, as expected.

Even with all the talent on defense, the bend don’t break will not get them to achieve the goal they came back for against better talented teams, especially on the road, where it always seems like there are HOMER officiating . That goes with the offense too with the average at best Oline.
