This looks stunning...my only complaint is I would have liked to have seen the whole wing light up not just the area were it attaches to Godzilla, but apart from that a stunning statue
This is the best sculpt of the Legendary Godzilla out there. It's the only one to not have him hunched over. Great straight up, powerful pose on this piece. Wish it was vinyl. No way I'm dripping $2k on anything made out of resin.
Absolutely one of the illest statues you've reviewed. As a huge godzilla fan I love to see a non-standard godzilla done perfectly like this. This is just a beautiful piece to leave on at night and gap out on. For me, I would put this on its own perch somewhere, away from other figures, for full affect.

I think this is even better than the new Prime1 statue, as a stand alone this is better, then as the Prime1 diorama with Kong I still think this is a cooler looking piece, it has more presence.

That Godzilla statue is massive, you have place on an island table, definitely illuminating yet you couldn't take your eyes off of it , it's captivating. thanks for sharing, its pretty dope.

Only a couple notes for this piece… I wish they would’ve had an open mouth version of Godzilla the wings are ok they don’t illuminate as much as I thought they would… they’re also a little much for me I don’t think I would display the wings but it’s still an amazing piece.
I would just get the standard edition. The wings are cool but not fully lit all the way to the top. It would have nicer if the wings were fully lit. But overall a great statue with the best lighting I've ever seen! Thanks for this!

@@prehistoricturtlesaurus5309 Yes, not bright to extend to the tips fully, but, there should have been more illumination beyond just close to the body, the light effect would show more detail of the wings if the light extended further and gradually faded to a dim, rather than no illumination at all.

That piece is sick. I think the biggest I can fit is the Prime 1 Bust I've got, but if I had more space, I'd get this in a heart beat. That 33" depth is a killer since most of my shelving is 18-22" deep. Might be time to buy a bigger house. 🤣

Now that I finally received the statue, I just wanted to followup on my comments back in May 2023. I purchased the Deluxe version...big mistake! The wings illumination is worse in person than in this video. I didn't like it back then, hate it now! Don't like that each wing is powered separately by AAA batteries and the switch to turn them on/off is at the connection point, so you have to take the wings off to turn them on and off and change the batteries. Problem is, I could not get the left-side wing to align to save my life, it just won't seat properly in the cutouts! After an hour of trying, I said @#$% it! They don't detach easy as well. It's such a pain in the @$$ to attach and detach the wings, I decided I'm not going to use them, and just display it as the standard version, which does look freaking awesome! Also, a million thanks to Gem here for the assembly process! You da man! Note to Spiral Studios, when you charge thousands of dollars for a statue, include a full-color assembly sheet! If anyone is on the fence, I highly recommend saving some bucks and go with the standard edition. Enjoy and Happy New Year 2024 to all!
Looks cool, but seems like a pretty big drop off from the proto pics. That light up really looks weak on the wings and having to switch them both on/off each time isn't ideal. I think I might cancel my order for this.
I agree about having to take the wings off to turn on the light, but the lights in the wings look good, it’s incredibly hard to get light to travel the length of those wings, you would need to put LED all up through the wings, and there must be a reason they didn’t.

I feel if the wings were too bright, it would muddy up the affect. It's so much wings compared to godzillas little pinhead
