      The AWD adds to the price. I bought a 2021 IS350 in February. For 45K. Roman didn’t mention the new touch screen. You don’t have to use the mousepad, though I like it.

      Update - I went for a couple of test drives in the AWD and RWD versions - former feels a bit tighter in the cabin for sure but both extremely comfortable. So quiet in the cabin! Rear seat space also a bit tight. Very high build quality and the track pad thing was easy to use after a couple of minutes of exploring. Really liked the car and the IS 350 F Sport RWD with the adaptive handling package - and sound system - would be my choice.

      The problem with many reviewers is that they put the front seat on maximum and they try the rear one. Let me say something- after I tried some 15 cars in this budget, I finally bought the IS AWD F3 2021 (Canada) and I'm very happy - we have it since 3 June. I'm 6.2ft (189 cm) and my wife, son and daughter are between 169-177 cm and have a lot of space. It is still a lot of place for me and still more place to slide back that I even cannot use because I will be too far from the wheel I also pull it at maximum.
      Another thing to mention is the engine noise that I like a lot because it is between a guttural one and high rpms one, so it is pure a matter of taste. And another thing that you will almost not hear from reviewers is that the behavior of the car between the city drive and the mountain S-shape is exceptional. Me and my wife love the car and our son who's 23 and muscle cars owner (V8 Charger) also totally loves the car. In manual mode you can turn it into a beast, if you want. An almost all the others we tried, note that in the same budget, suffers from the 4 cylinders turbo lag, even if they were in the range of plus, minus 0.3 seconds for 0 to 100kmh. For me, personally is the prove that we bought the car after we tried extensively at least: A4, A5, Giulia, G70 ( what about the back space there ?), S60 T5 and T6, Legacy GT Premier, Artheon (big and slow), Stinger (faster, but like a chariot in town), etc... My first choice was the new TLX...that became the last one

      @@ninja777de CG, I am in the process of negotiating a 2021 F-sport 3 IS 350 now. I know there is enough room in the backseat for my kids. My only real concern is how it will perform in the Ontario winter. I realize you bought this in June and will soon find out. I am almost convinced to sign the contract but need to do a bit more due diligence. I live in a town where the speed limit is 60 kms per hr so all of this 0-60 mph talk on youtube is meaningless as even if you go with a Bentley or Tesla in my town you could never open the car up and race. The cops would rip your license up pretty fast. Any further info you want to share about your gorgeous IS would be appreciated!

    At $56k this car is a disappointment with only 311hp. An S4, G70 3.3t, Kia Stinger GT2 or and Acura TLX Type S are far better and cheaper options at that price point. What is Lexus smoking?

    • @drivescene6747
      @drivescene6747 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jeffbarringer9555 the S4 is solid, I can imagine the TLX Type S will be solid as well being an Acura, and Genesis/Kia has improved a LOT so after 5 years none of these vehicles will be a nightmare. And honestly if reliability is Lexus’ only selling point then it’s not worth it, life’s too short to driver overpriced boring cars. Which is what that Lexus is vs other cars in the segment.
