From the economic point of view, such a strong preference can become costly compared to becoming able to choose from the selections, which are sold in more quantity in more stores and often at cheaper prices.
Many places have experienced the good side of electric scooters, but more and more evident is that the usage needs significantly more regulations to become more safe and less harmful. Problems - parking everywhere is seriously harmful - traffic accidents are becoming a significant problem including deaths. - fast scooters are dangerous using pathways intended for pedestrians. - insurance coverage is problematic - private companies benefit financially and use without any real justification private and public spaces for parking their vehicles
