The fact that Celina wasn't feeling well at that time to the point that she almost passed out RIGHT AFTER their performance before the judges can even give their comment, and yet she delivered the performance so well! Still proud of my girls even if they didn't win.

Often times in a competition, it is not the most excellently talented that win. I see this "seeming" error under the sun as a blessing in disguise 💕.

a few points for you to consider ........this series was won by a young blonde haired blue eyed female british singer( home town advantage i suppose) that you have probably never heard of even thou she won , there was a lot of drama around this episode with Celina collapsing and being taken to hospital before the show....they were given the option to not perform and just show the tape from the rehearsal -----but they insisted on performing ....and right after the song Celina felt light headed and had to be given a chair to sit in and recover ........just as an aside , I have met these ladies twice and when asked Almira said ...." we always give 100% because you never know who is in the audience watching. So every performance has to be the best that it can be "........

In my opinion, this was the best performance of 4th impact in X factor! I have been wanting to say this for years! In this production, I saw a clear vision of where these ladies can go with their talent. It is really a matter of finding good marketing management that understands their values.
Let me just add that I appreciate it that they don't use sexy to market themselves. It is really PURE TALENT and HARDWORK! And Yes, I am a silent Dreamer, until now!
I usually don't care if a fan say the word "sxye" about their idols, but when it comes to 4th Impact I get upset, when people say that they are sexy: In their case I get upset as I don't think they got or even get what they deserve. The talk about being sexy detract from their huge talents and the fact that they still are developing as artists, even 6 years later. These ladies are amazing!

The fact that they did not even reach the finals is just unbelievable. Their talent is incredible. You were right to say that it felt like they were guests and not contestants in the show. The fact that they sing and harmonize perfectly and even dance shouts talent. I watched them live when they were guests in a festival here in Germany and they were great!
Another very enjoyable reaction! You missed all the major drama of this particular show, though. In the longer version of this episode, it was announced before they went onstage that Celina had passed out earlier (maybe during rehearsals) and been "taken in an ambulance." They were given the option of not performing and having tapes of the dress rehearsal run instead. They insisted on going on live, and in later interviews, Celina said she almost fainted during the number. The amazing thing to me is that there wasn't even the slightest hint from her or any of the others that there was anything wrong, during that entire, incredible performance. Once it ended, the other three had to hold her up to keep her from passing out onstage. It was incredibly dramatic. As to your point about it looking like they're guests on the show, not contestants (and I agree absolutely), I've heard quite a few people describe it as seeming like they are giving a concert rather than appearing in a competition.
I agree this is true, and she still put on an amazing show.

They didn't win due to politics. Simon said he doesn't think their relevant. He blew it. I'm enjoying you more than any reactor I've seen. Your level of competency makes your critiques hold greater value. And the look of holy cow is still there. I'm amazed each time too. Their cover of Imagine is half a capella half acoustic. You really hear THEM.

Just to inform you that 4th Impact and a host of other Filipino delegates won and swept the WCOPA (World Championship of Performing Arts) awards held annually in the USA. They were known then as the Cercado sisters and actually won twice!

In that specific performance Celina the youngest almost fainted after performing, she even passed out before the show started, they were offered to just play the pretaped performance yet they still perform live and went #1 in that week. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!?

@@chriscurren6384 Here's how The Daily Mail described what happened: "An X Factor spokesman said at the time: 'Celina fainted earlier before her performance. An ambulance was called and she was checked by a medic who said she was OK to perform." On the show, Cheryl said she "was taken in an ambulance," but apparently it was just to be checked out, not for a trip to the hospital. It would be nice to get more info about this from the sisters themselves, and clear up the confusion.
You made a wonderful observation while listening to 4th Impact, saying that they looked more like guest stars than participants. Also I wanted to tell you that your interpretation of DRIVERS LICENSE is great. You can imagine with some very sweet harmonies from 4th Impact how beautiful it would have been. Your voice would go perfectly with those of the girls. Thank you from Montreal.
Don’t know if someone has already told you but Mylene arranged all of the X- Factor songs her self. And I believe Irene had a lot to do with the choreography of most of the songs.

I have 3 to recommend. Since you like their rapping, you would enjoy their cover of Panalo. Second, their performance of the iconic Bohemian Rhapsody. And last, their original song K(no)w More, performed live on the wish bus. They are a must for any 4th Impact bucket list.

Thank you for another great 4TH Impact reaction Danielle. I thought you were going to do more of them in July, but I know the request are deep for you to react to other artist. I'm happy to see another one from you for 4TH Impact. There's really no way they should have lost that competition, but we're 6 years away from it now so it doesn't matter. All that matters is that we keep pushing their performances so more people are exposed to their incredible talent, which has not diminished one bit since that show.

Mylene does most of the arrangement...Imera does most high and whistle notes...Irene is responsible for a lot of the dance moves and Celina is the master of RAP (as you now know)...Their mother makes a lot of the costumes ..there is a third sister who manages them.......You can see now that they are a unique family.......Really really LOVE all your reactions,you are the best i have seen...More treats for you (and us) to come.

Hi Danielle, a little late to the party, just found the video. They came to the X-Factor to show everyone that they are a marketable group and the fact that they didn't win is still so astonishing, I heard the ratings for the show went down dramatically once they were eliminated. I dont know if this is true, but it would not surprise me if it happened like that. They were clearly a crowd favorite! BUt as far as the costumes go, I think there mother Mama E made a lot of them, for each performance they did. But in this case the production provided these dresses, I think. Again thank you for your support of the girls. 💖🌹
When you start at the top of the bar yo give little room for getting better they stayed at the top and are so SMOKIN' every time.
Danielle awesome reaction as usual. To address your question on who does the arrangements, the sister that sang first, Mylene, does all the group’s musical arrangements. Even the X Factor producers were smart enough to let her do the arrangements. She was 21 at the time. They call her “The Boss “ cause she tells which sister to sing what note. A true musical genius. When she was asked how she does it she says “It just comes in my head “. They are so tight and in tune with each other’s talents and abilities, she can arrange a new song in a couple hours and after a couple hours of practice it’s ready to perform. They truly are something special. They finished 5th and it was a travesty. Each judge is mentor to a certain group, Men,Women, Groups and Overs ( over 35). The only guy left forgot the lines to his song but being such a nice guy the theory is people felt the girls were safe so they voted for him. This is evident by him getting the second most votes that week and the girls were in last place. They still had a chance to survive due to a sing off with the next lowest vote getter, one of two girls left. After their sing off it was so obvious that they were better but when the judges voted the judges that were the mentors of the girls and boys voted them off. They knew their contestants would have a hard chance beating them and they gave the lamest reason. Simon and their mentor Cheryl voted them through so it went to the fan vote and they were last. The shows ratings dropped through the floor and people were so outraged that producers had to disable the comments on their videos. Proof of this was born out when the top ten did the tour 4th Impact was voted by 80% as the most anticipated act to see and after the concerts were voted by 80% as the best act. That included the girl that won. They were so humble and kind hearted they sincerely thanked X Factor UK for giving them the opportunity to get the exposure.
Fun fact. When they returned to the Philippines they were invited on a very popular local game show. When the host found out they didn’t win any money and didn’t even own a car to get to their local performances he told them to pick out any new car and he’d pay for it. The whole family broke down in tears. Sorry for such a long comment but I get carried away sometimes. The hardest thing to do is pick the next video to react to. If I may suggest they have an original song that was at the top of the Philippines charts and got some serious play time on west coast of the US. This was performed on the Wish bus. “K(no)w More” is very catchy and a great first effort. I’ll be looking for the notification. Here’s the link.

Spot on with the comment. These girls were on another level. They were actually giving finished performances, far beyond what the other contestants were giving. They should have been the winners. It seems there may have been backlash against how good they were.
I stumbled across 4th Impact about a year or so after they were on the X Factor UK. I did some looking into British social media and web forums from the time and it was astonishing how many people criticized 4th Impact for being too polished and professional. The argument was that they were too good and should leave the show to those who were starting out and needed a break. At the time 4th Impact needed a break about as much as anybody could as they were ready to quit the music business and find jobs. They considered the X Factor UK as their make or break opportunity and they did everything they possibly could to succeed. Although they didn't win, the exposure raised their profile both in the Philippines and internationally and led to them having successful careers even during the current pandemic.
I also feel that they had to exert double the effort with their performances because they were also uncompromising with their dancing and stage choreography. Always looking to be a total performer. They were the only act in the competition that I would pay good money to see live.
Nearly every one who appears in these types of shows has previous performing experience of some type . Ok , 4th impact had appeared in a number of Asian tv singing shows ....but they HAD NOT received wide exposure outside Asia. They appeared more professional because of the amount of time they have been performing together...and they have their own musical arranger and choreographer
within the group ( Mylene - arranger , Irene choreographer).

If your going in order you missed incredible performances when they did the 6 chair challenge, performed with group 13 and the Judges houses. This is my favorite X Factor performance of the girls. I was jumping up and down like a crazy person after. There was so much doubt about this song choice, but they changed it up to be more upbeat. The girls had been so good throughout but the performance before this was underwhelming for some because of the song choice. They way this was arranged fit perfectly with their vocal abilities. This got them back in contention (Well, they should have never been out of contention anyway because they had been consistently amazing) and reminded everyone *again* that they were total performers.
4TH IMPACT now own their own studio and keep putting out high quality covers. Look at "I believe I can Fly" and their latest cover a K-pop (Korean) song "Where are We Now". Their are many covers as a group, individually, and duos. They also Livestream every Sat. & Sun starting between 8:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Philippine time or 8:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. EST in the USA. Watching then is like a 3hr. variety show. Tune in.

Everything you said is exactly correct...one thing that Cheryl said is that she was worried that these girls would have a hard time moving ahead in the show because they came in at such a high level that they didn't have much room to grow in the competition and this is one of the factors that makes a star by the end of the show. A second reason is that many of the UK voters labeled these girls as professionals because of their performance abilities and thought that some of the others that were more amateurish deserved a chance to move ahead of the girls. In the end the girls were recognized by XFactor and invited to perform with the top winners to tour the UK. They were voted as the most entertaining act of all those who toured.

👍👍👍👍👍 Throughout the xfactor auditions it is funny how often the judges are licking their lips in anticipation of what 4th Impact will bring while the other contestants are frequently seen chewing their lips in fear of what 4th Impact will bring. They only got 5th place....had to be politics....they certainly should have won. Any time anything totally inexplicable happens....politics is to blame😉😉😉 (...at least, that's my theory....)

Great reaction. I love your reactions. Many people that watch 4th Impact's XFactor journey, when finding out they didn't win, all say the same thing. "I need to see the winner" and they come back and say B.S. I think 4i were victims of Underdog voting. This is where someone thinks everyone else is voting for 4i so they vote for another person they like.
New subscriber. Big 4I fan here and your reactions are great on a personal and professional level. You mentioned in one if your reactions that you were having trouble identifying who was singing what, as a rule of thumb from left to right you have Mylene (who does the arrangements), Almira, then Irene and Celina mix up positions on the right side. Their cover of Bruno Mars' "Leave the Door Open'" is the first MV they produced in their new studio and it will blow your socks off with the harmonies and it is just all around good fun. They also put out an original "K(no)w More". I would love to see you react to these, but if you are working your way through their X Factor journey then I guess I will just have to wait .
The first time i heard about those four girls was when they participated to X Factor Korea under the alias MICA and the audition was already incredible.
