Scammers ruin everything for the people who genuinely want to work hard and make an honest living. I used to be a borderline "coupon queen" when it was getting popular several years ago. I was a SAHM homeschooling 5 kids on a one income budget. It helped our family a lot! But it wasn't long until scammers stepped in and everything went downhill. I hope Spark asking for us to confirm our identity will at least slow it down.
I've been working Spark in Michigan for almost 4 years now. 14 out of the 16 stores I've worked have the illegal immigrant scammers problem. This will be my last month working this app. - I'm glad that you're not experiencing this, brother. All the best.
A walmart employee told me that people are selling their accounts to these scammers for hundreds of dollars. Smh! They ruin it for the people that want/need to work.
@thethriftygreek5801 I think that's why some have started renting them out instead. Driver pays an amount every month and is responsible for making enough for taxes, at least that's what I've heard.
@@Missippidashinghappening at my small 1 store zone this past month. Convinced its an organized group by the things I've observed. Started noticing 2 cars sitting in the same 2 spots for 10hrs+ a day, someone always inside those 2 cars. They park 1 lot away overlooking curbside area. They never leave those spots all day long. Meanwhile I notice the same 2 or 3 cars getting orders every hour.
They're here in Wilmington, NC. So many Sparkers went on to other gigs because the group of scammers are taking over. We've all reported what's going on to the management at Walmart. They say they're working on it. Like someone said, they shop in 2's and have multiple phones, fake driver's licenses, fake temporary tags and license plate decals with expired stickers. I use to get $30 curbside deliveries but mostly now $15 for 3 drops. It's a nationwide issue but I guess Walmart doesn't care, as long as customers get their orders. Some cannot speak english but get big orders all the time.
Exact same thing in southern Minnesota. Walmart deactivated a couple of them and a week later they reapplied and got activated under a different name. Thanks Biden and Democrats
In North dakota, we have tons of scammers here. I've been doing Spark for over 2 years. This year is really bad. Used to be able to make $100 daily. good orders within 5 deliveries. Now you can be out for 5 plus hours and only make 40-50 dollars. You will see the same drivers getting orders after orders all day long. They have multiple phones. Glad your not experiencing that yet. We also only have two walmarts here in the same zone. The next closest zone isn't worth the drive.
They've hit my small 1 store zone this past month. I notice their 2 cars sitting 1 lot away from everyone by themselves everyday for 10+ hrs a day and someone is always in driver seat. They never go and pickup orders, yet are there everyday. So I started looking into scams on youtube and alot of ppl are saying the same things I'm noticing in the lots around me
I live in Northern Virginia and I have 4 Walmarts in my zone and go to 2 of them regularly and the scammers are at both. Usually it’s 6-10 guys either standing in a group or sitting 4 to a car until they get an order. It’s definitely a problem here
I. Think we have some of them appear in pearl city alabama cause for some reason that you can sit in the parking lot and they'll get more orders than you do and it just seems kind of weird
The familiarity of this video is so depressing. Reminds me of my own cognitive dissonance only a few months back ...... the list of baseless rationalizations, the futile optimistic hope of moving to a different zone, $15 for 18 mile round trip just before it "dies"..... I really enjoy your energy and videos Nason; please continue to drop content after the Spark ship has finally sailed, it's a real inspiration to many of us.
Have you noticed your completion rate dropping even though you have delivered every order. Mine continues do go down even though I'm not canceling anything.
My Walmart seems to get to know its drivers, and I talk to other drivers, I think we have a couple of illegal immigrants, but they're not scamming. They're doing the same thing I am,lol, thumb hovering over the phone,.. haven't seen any scamming unless random pass through drivers are doing it on off days. But I'm close.. close to not doing spark much longer.. My concession trailer is about 6 weeks from being finished, I'm sparking open to close every day to make it happen. I'll be doing subs, novelty ice cream bars, and cones. I'm terrified and excited
A spark driver on Reddit said they walked into a Walmart and the employees were encouraging the customers to sign up for Walmart plus with free delivery and encouraging no tipping the employee did not realize they were talking to a spark driver
Wow I hope not! But then again this service wasn’t meant to last forever. The days of the independent contractor will come to an end eventually with Walmart.
I've seen it in my market. Usually what they do is one person shops once they're done shopping they hand the phone and the order to another person and that person goes and delivers. While the person with the phone stays at the store and does another shop and when they gets back he loads the car up again and sends that driver back they are always switching phones back and forth between them I've seen them do this all the time in my market.
My main location ( I have 2 walmarts and a sams club) and I am competing with 20 to 30 drivers, my best guess. I've walked through the main Aisle GR1 and have seen a spark driver in every aisle. Phone in hand and one in each back pockets. I've also seen spark shoppers without a vehicle. They'll get2 to 4 big shop orders and call their wife/girlfriend to take all them all in one car. The Walten family makes 3 million dollars an hour (according to the interweb, lol. Why can't they hire lets ay apple's security team and fix the problem. Walmart does not care.
@kayleeSavesMoney. I’m in Tupelo as well so I’m wondering if you do instacart? If so do you find it difficult to earn even a$100 a day? The batches come every 1-3 hours
It's not "fear mongering". There are several videos of customers getting these people as delivery drivers along with spark drivers that show them. If you choose to ignore them, that's on you.

Yeah if all Americans quit Spark then we gonna pay $7 that damn for sure till all immigrants quit lol that's our plans

This is crazy because the person who sold their account will be responsible for the taxes. Pretty stupid

We need to post this all over social media!! Don’t allow for this s**t to keep happening. Believe me they will be in your area soon.
I hope not, but we will deal with it when it does!

Fear mongering? Sounds like another word for denial.

Tampa, FL It's A Problem Too.....I Hate It
It’s affecting smaller markets/zones also
I.

There’s scammers in my area but I just got to a different store while they sit at another. But I still get orders so no biggie

Plymouth MA here. I don't need to look for them. They are everywhere that I am apparently. Its insane.
Oh no!!
Thank you I have been wanting to do this - great inspiration

Scammers are here in Lafayette Louisiana

Oh question when I went to look at the qualifications it said a background check- how many days does that take or what’s your experience 😊
I wish we could request our favorite drivers. Btw, you seem like a freaking awesome human! I would request you for sure
Good job buddy! I subscribed to your channel. I also do deliveries through the apps. I enjoy it

There isn't scammers in Tupelo market either at least not that affects it too much here.
