dont worry about the house situation i live in a much smaler home without an upstairs the one thing u can do is just use smthng and put it away thats what i do and my house is tiny and when i make a mess wich is common in my house i need to clean it up oe else the house looks like a dump and i have no storage room , dont let it stress u out

I just wanna warn you about not having any air/free space below the mattress. :) I made the same mistake when I was on an exchange and I was saving money, so I only bought a mattress but no bed.... Turns out I sweat a lot at night and all this water accumulates at the bottom of the mattress and on the floor. The end result was mold! So just turn it around like every week or so.
