Yea, so what do you mean by hereditary? 🤔 like rashguards should give birth to rashguards with long sleeves? Or do you mean compulsory.
Rash guards get just as slippery as skin when soaked in sweat. I've trained in long sleeve rash guards and they really don't help slipperiness

Grappling definitely needs to incorporate stalling warnings and penalties. They keep scratching their heads wondering how to make the matches more interesting .
👉🏼 call stalemates ( which could be tricky but it would force action.
👉🏼 stalling penalties. In Freestyle you lose a point if your put on the shot clock and you don’t score within 30 seconds . So some variation of that rule could help.
i only watched the replay and it dident have highlight a single thing giancarclo did but just attempts from Pedro
he still was doing more than giancarlo. He got 2 takedowns and several close looks. Giancarlo didn’t really have any move execution this whole match

How do you expect either athlete to be able to secure a submission when both of them are literally drenched in sweat and dripping? Wouldn't it be more spectacular if they had athletes wear long sleeves? Or at least have them wipe sweat periodically? It seems to me that they are so slippery that 90% of transitions and submissions are impossible
I'm new to this scene in general so I refrain from having opinions, but I had the same thought as you. There was so much sweat it was splashing like they were in a swimming pool

You gonna argue Gordon doesn't have "Good technical" skills? You still need to be able to grip your opponent and if you can just slip out of everything, there's no Jiu-Jitsu.

May be an unpopular opinion. But I think leg locks are damaging no GI grappling. I feel like the reason matches are lasting longer is everyone is so cautious of a slight mid step and getting leg locked. And everyone focus so hard on them that most other submissions seem to be neglected.
