We found this when we sent up a satellite to look for supernovas, and detected them everywhere. We thought there was a problem with the aiming, so we pointed the sensor at at earth, to basically put the lens cap on. And it found even more. Eventually they figured out that lighting strikes create the same type of high energy gamma ray bursts as a supernova, but for a shorter duration.
@@mikegrok So why aren't we all dead? Or all Hulks? So clearly I'm joking but still, if it creates gamma rays, shouldn't all beings be cancer ridden from exposure? Gamma ray doesn't stop when the burst does, correct? Side note, these stories are hilarious in their sameness. Reckless disregard for safety, alien that looks like disco ball combined with (favorite animal here), existential crisis across several dimensions...the number 42 in there somewhere, somehow. It's hard to make a bingo card that doesn't work every time! And find me the AI that can say unanimous. It always comes out ewwww namimous...at least to my age addled ears.
I'm loving how fast these stories get pumped out 😂 I've been binging them for dayyys. ❤
I try my best to keep them coming!
You are the best! ❤
Ah yes. Earth the planet where daww that killing machine is adorable and I want one.
"Koo doo grass" rofl 😂
By the way, lightning strikes create antimatter, it just doesn’t last very long as it quickly encounters regular matter and annihilates itself.
