Opetaia is the best fighter from Australia at the moment - he's accurate with both hands, & like Marvin Hagler, his right hook looks very fluid & natural. Massey needs a long rest after this. The punishment that he absorbed to the body was the worst I've seen in quite a while.

As an Aussie, Beterbiev in with Opetaia is the fight I really want to see. The Chechen fought as a Cruiser at amateur and has spoken of moving up as a final challenge. Jai isn't a big Cruiser. Turki is keen apparently, Jai & Beterbiev are keen - bring it on. 👍
Not me, that's just another fight where he can't pick up a belt. I only want to see this fight if all the other belt holders continue to dodge Opetaia which, unfortunately, is probably going to happen.

@@peternut358 If you look at the Dubios v Joshua video I've done a updated list, I think I've put Bivol at 7 or 8. I scored the fight 116-114 to Beterbiev with two even rounds,a draw was not beyond the realms possibility.
After Opetaia unifies at cruiser which is more or less guaranteed, I think CBS can beat Ramirez but not Jai. A move up to heavyweight would be good, that's where we'll see Opetaia tested against fighters with equal or more power.
I remember Dave Allen calling Massey the easiest spar he ever had lol. Jai stay beating mediocre fighters. He should move up already and get it over and done with.
The only thing Opetia needs to fix is he drops his right hand when he throws his straight left, against a sharp counter puncher or someone with power he could honestly get dropped or KO’d. Especially in later rounds when he tends to tire out. He’s susceptible to a counter left hook.
Nothing about any of these fights is saying home of boxing. Zero atmosphere and mind numbingly banal commentary. Compare this with commentary on top rank, PBC or others stateside and the realization is “there’s light years between the two models. The two British commentators may have been worl champs; the whole world gets that, but take away thoughts from a knowledgeable fan is buzz overkill……..

Usyk is too fluid with the Soviet Style. He'll expose Jai to be a newbie at it. And tire Jai coz he's condition isn't world-class.

He also showed physical improvement. He’s more powerful in his back and shoulders than his previous fight.
